  • Patent number: 9037685
Abstract: A system (and method) discloses migrating data of a first client device to a second client device. A second client device transmits configuration information of the second client device to a remote server. The remote server compares this data to data from the first client device that was previously sent to the remote server from the first client device. The remote server prepares data that is in a format that is compatible with hardware or software configuration of the second client device and that corresponds to the data from the first client device. Thereafter, the remote server transmits this data to the second client device, which uses it to initialize (e.g., restore or reinitialize) the second client device.

  • Patent number: 9036212
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes generating a Continuous Tone Image (CTI) with all pixel values same as the first gray level and an initial Half Tone Image (HTI) with all pixel values equal to minimum absorptance level, computing a change in pixel error by toggling with all the possible output states and swapping with all neighbor pixels only if the stacking constraint is satisfied, updating the HTI with the maximum error decrease operation and continue to next pixel location till the end criteria is met. Once the end criteria is met, the updated HTI is saved as a final halftone screen for that gray level and copied as the initial HTI for the next gray level along with CTI pixel values updated to the next gray level till the final gray value is reached.

  • Patent number: 9034160
Abstract: A sensor system, device, and methods for determining the concentration of an analyte in a sample is described. Input signals including multiple duty cycles of sequential excitation pulses and relaxations are input to the sample. One or more signals output from the sample within 300 ms of the input of an excitation pulse may be correlated with the analyte concentration of the sample to improve the accuracy and/or precision of the analysis. Determining the analyte concentration of the sample from these rapidly measured output values may reduce analysis errors arising from the hematocrit effect, mediator background, and other error sources.

  • Patent number: 9037703
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing system resources on distributed servers are discussed. The servers may determine, using control circuitry, a system resource metric of the server. The system resource metric may be compared with a pre-determined threshold value. Based on the comparison of the system resource metric with a pre-determined threshold value, the server may determine whether to initiate maintenance on the server. If it is determined that maintenance should be initiated, the server may enter a not-in-service mode and the server may initiate maintenance. Once maintenance is complete, the server may exit the not-in-service mode.
