    Abstract: A DC/DC converter configurable for operating as a multiphase DC/DC. A controller produces a master drive signal for controlling a primary power switch to produce the output DC signal at a desired level. Multiple secondary power stages are coupled between the input and the output nodes for producing an output DC signal. Each of the multiple secondary power stages has at least one secondary power switch responsive to the input DC signal for producing the output DC signal. An expander system configures the DC/DC converter for operation in a multiphase DC/DC conversion mode. The expander system is responsive to the master drive signal for producing multiple slave drive signals respectively supplied to the multiple secondary power stages for controlling secondary power switches. The slave drive signals have phases shifted with respect to the master drive signal and with respect to each other.

A memory usage of a memory is monitored by a built-in memory management component of an OS of the device and a user-oriented memory management component. When the memory usage of the memory is greater than the first threshold, a multi-level memory management is performed by the user-oriented memory management component. When the memory usage of the memory is greater than the second threshold, a primitive memory management is performed by the built-in memory management component.

    Abstract: The embodiments described herein relate to methods, systems, and structures for cutting a part to form a highly reflective and smooth surface thereon. In some embodiments, the part includes substantially horizontal and vertical surfaces with edges and corners. In described embodiments, a diamond cutter is used to cut a surface of the part during a milling operation where the diamond cutter contacts the part a number of times with each rotation of the spindle of a milling machine. The diamond cutter has a cutting edge and a land. The cutting edge cuts the surface of the part and the land burnishes the surface of the part to form a highly reflective and smooth surface. Thus, the diamond cutter cuts and burnishes portions of the part, thereby eliminating a subsequent polishing step.

    Abstract: The invention provides FGFR fusion proteins, methods of making them, and methods of using them to treat proliferative disorders, including cancers and disorders of angiogenesis. The FGFR fusion molecules can be made in CHO cells and may comprise deletion mutations in the extracellular domains of the FGFRs which improve their stability. These fusion proteins inhibit the growth and viability of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. The combination of the relatively high affinity of these receptors for their ligand FGFs and the demonstrated ability of these decoy receptors to inhibit tumor growth is an indication of the clinical value of the compositions and methods provided herein.

Owing to these features, the static elimination device of the present invention could work very well for the glass substrate of an arbitrary size. The grid film may be patterned to accommodate a color filter. The grid film pattern may align the color filter to corresponding pixel in the device wafer. A portion of the grid film formed over the conductive feature may be reduced to be substantially planar with portions of the grid film adjacent to the conductive feature. The patterning and reducing may be performed according to etching processes, chemical mechanical processes, and combinations thereof.
