    Abstract: Sound attenuation is performed using a sound attenuation panel using an electromagnetic or electrostatic response unit to modify resonance. The sound attenuation panel has an acoustically transparent planar, rigid frame divided into a plurality of individual cells configured for attenuating sound. In one configuration, each cell has a weight fixed to the membrane. The planar geometry of each said individual cell, the flexibility of the membrane, and the weight establish a base resonant frequency for sound attenuation. The electromagnetic or electrostatic response unit is configured to modify the resonant frequency of the cell.

The control unit receives a call request over a narrowband control channel from a first mobile station, assigns a pair of narrowband traffic channels for a call associated with the call request, chooses two mobile stations from the plurality of mobile stations to act as a narrowband repeater for the call, the pair including a respective receiver mobile station and a respective transmitter mobile station, informs the repeater mobile stations of the assignment and of the assigned traffic channels for the call, and grants the call request over the narrowband control channel. The grant includes an indication of the assigned traffic channels on which the repeater mobile stations can be located for the call.

    Abstract: A method for reducing interference from scattered light/reflected light of an interference path by generating carrier through phase. Phase modulation is applied on the terminal of a fiber path, and a target signal is separated from an interference signal by selecting a specific working point, to obtain a purer target signal, thereby lengthening the measurement distance. The signal demodulation manner used in this method is different from the traditional manner of modulation performed by generating a carrier through the phase, and does not need to use the modulation frequency as the reference signal during demodulation, so this manner is easily implemented. The method is applicable to long-distance pipeline monitoring and wide-range fiber perimeter security, and especially to an application environment in which the modulation end is far away from the signal demodulation end.
