    Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques of performing machine unlearning in a recommendation model. An unlearning process of the recommendation model may be initiated in response to receiving a request for deleting a fraction of user data from any particular user. The recommendation model may be pre-trained to recommend content to users based at least in part on user data. Values of entries in a matrix corresponding to the fraction of user data may be configured as zero. The matrix may comprise entries denoting preferences of users with respect to content items. Confidence values associated with the fraction of user data may be configured as zero to block influence of the fraction of user data on performance of the recommendation model. The unlearning process may be implemented by performing a number of iterations until the recommendation model has converged.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a polypeptide capable of prolonging the lifespan of Caenorhabditis elegans, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The polypeptide has an amino acid sequence XKFAA (X: any amino acid, preferably T/A). Further, after one or more amino acids on the foregoing polypeptide sequence are deleted, substituted, or added, the resulting polypeptide or the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof still have the anti-aging activity. The polypeptide has the effect of prolonging the lifespan of Caenorhabditis elegans and anti-aging, and also has the function of enhancing the ability of movement behavior, improving the anti-stress ability, and alleviating the decline of movement ability in the aging process.

    Abstract: A fluidized catalytic conversion method for producing light olefins includes the following steps: 1) introducing an olefin-rich feedstock into a fluidized catalytic conversion reactor, and contacting with a catalyst having a temperature of 650° C. or higher for reaction; 2) separating the reaction product vapor obtained by the reaction to obtain a stream comprising C5+ olefins; and 3) recycling at least a part of the stream comprising C5+ olefins to step 1) for further reaction. The fluidized catalytic conversion method can effectively improve the yield of light olefins, improve the selectivity and improve the ethylene/propylene ratio of the product.

    Abstract: An alumina-based ceramic tool material with low thermal expansion and a preparation process thereof, accordingly, the ceramic tool material may have both the high hardness of alumina ceramics after the hot pressing sintering, and reduces the thermal expansion coefficient of the overall ceramic material by adding the Sc2W3O12 as the negative thermal expansion phase, which improves the thermal shock resistance of ceramic tools in high-speed cutting engineering and meets the requirements of large temperature range during the machining of nickel-based superalloys. Moreover, the composite material does not use metal binder and has strong thermal stability even in the high-speed machining under extreme heat-force-chemistry coupling, so it has a high machining compatibility for nickel-based superalloys.

    Abstract: An in vitro release test (IVRT) method and system is provided for drug release testing. The IVRT method, referred to herein as adaptive perfusion, employ tangential-flow filtration (TFF), where released drug products that are smaller than a molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) of a membrane filter pass therethrough into the permeate. Unreleased drug products are retained by the pores of the filter and are recirculated to a retentate reservoir. Fresh media is provided to the retentate in order to maintain a constant total volume for the sample as well as to maintain sink conditions for the drug release. Drug concentration in the retentate and permeate are evaluated by in situ monitoring with one or more sensors and/or by periodic removal of aliquots from the respective reservoirs. In some embodiments, the membrane filter can be conditioned prior to use in order to improve the accuracy, precision, or both of the subsequent testing.
