    Abstract: A rechargeable battery socket and the manufacturing method of making the same is disclosed. The rechargeable battery socket includes an insulating housing defining a number of terminal channels, a number of terminals received in the insulating housing, and a shell assembled to one side of the insulating housing. Each terminal includes a contacting portion received in corresponding terminal channel and a tail extending out of the insulating housing. Each terminal channel provides a pair of ribs on two opposite inside faces thereof. The contacting portion of the terminal cooperates with the rib to thereby secure the terminal in the insulating housing.

    Abstract: A structure for an electronic card connector is comprised of an insulating body having a universal card slot on a side thereof, a first group of pins, and a pressing unit disposed on the first surface. The universal card slot is comprised of a first surface thereinside and the first group of pins is comprised of a plurality of conducting terminals. Furthermore, the pressing unit is comprised of a contacting portion disposed higher than the first group of pins, a plurality of pivoting portions, and a pressing portion. A plurality of pivoting holes disposed on the surface are connected with the pivoting portion of the pressing unit and the pressing portion abuts against free ends of the conducting terminals. The structure is used to prevent the conducting terminals from improper contact with the inserted electronic card.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses an electronic card connector that includes a protruding member installed at a lateral side inside an insulating body, such that a sliding portion can latch an electronic card. With the protruding member installed at a lateral side inside an insulating body of the electronic card connector, the latch arm of the sliding portion will not be bent and the electronic card can be latched when an electronic card pushes the sliding portion into the electronic card connector. The invention can achieve the purposes of a high durability, a simple structure and a low manufacturing cost for the electronic card connector, since it is not necessary to bend the latch arm of the sliding portion to latch the electronic card when pushing the electronic card into the electronic card connector.
