Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for wireless local area network (WLAN) link adaptation for multi-user transmission. For example, a receiving device can receive a multi-user-physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (MU-PPDU) including a preamble and a plurality of data portions. The preamble can include a PHY multi-user-block acknowledgement request (MU-BAR) frame indicating a frequency band for transmitting a trigger-based (TB)-PPDU. The receiving device can decode at least a portion of a first data portion of the and transmit the TB-PPDU including feedback (FB) data corresponding to the first data portion in the frequency band. Even if the decoding of the first data portion fails, the receiving device can use information in the PHY MU-BAR frame to transmit a TB-PPDU to the transmitting device that includes a negative acknowledgment (NACK) frame and a FB sequence number of the MU-PPDU.

Abstract: It provides a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: determining motion information for a video block of a video by conducting a refinement process on at least one of a first merge candidate or a second merge candidate for the video block, the second merge candidate being generated based on the first merge candidate; and performing a conversion between the video block and a bitstream of the video based on the motion information. Compared with the conventional solution, the proposed method can advantageously improve the coding performance.

The goods sorting system includes a sorting and storage area, a sorting robot, a bin transport robot, and a control server. The sorting and storage area has at least one shelf. The shelf includes a first storage area provided with sorting and storage positions and a second storage area. The control server is configured to determine a target sorting and storage position where sorted goods are to be stored in the first storage area based on sorted goods information, dispatch the sorting robot to deliver the-sorted goods into a bin corresponding to the target sorting and storage position, and in a case a sorting task has been completed for the bin in the first storage area, dispatch the bin transport robot to transport the bin to an empty storage position in the second storage area.

Abstract: A smoking device includes a handle and a smoking device control interface. All inputs of the smoking device control interface are disposed above the handle or along a finger contact surface of the handle thereby providing single handed operating functionality. An operator is able to control various operating characteristics during operation with the same hand that grips the smoking device without having to readjust their grip or adjust the smoking device. All outputs of the control interface are visible during use. This provides ease of use and permits the operator to perform other functions with their free hand. No inputs or outputs of the smoking device control interface are disposed between contact surfaces of the handle. At least part of the smoking device control interface is disposed above the handle. The inputs or outputs of the smoking device control interface are within two-thirds of a height of the handle.

Abstract: The present invention discloses the use of SNAT2 competitive inhibitors or gene expression inhibition in the preparation of drugs for the prevention and/or treatment of hypertensive disorders. The SNAT2 competitive inhibitor is ?-aminoisobutyric acid (MeAIB). The present invention demonstrates that MeAIB, a competitive inhibitor of SNAT2, and knockout of the SNAT2 gene can prevent and treat hypertension, and is of significant value in the prevention and treatment of primary hypertension. The present invention provides evidence showing that SNAT2 serves as a potential target for drug discovery and an intervention tool in primary hypertension.

Abstract: A vaporizing device includes a heating adapter connector, a mouthpiece, a housing, and a handle. The housing is disposed between the heating adapter connector and the mouthpiece. The handle is attached to the housing and extends away from the housing. The handle provides dedicated hand support for ease of operation. An airflow path extends from an inlet of the heating adapter connector, through the housing, and out of a mouthpiece outlet of the mouthpiece. No airflow path between the inlet and outlet extends through the handle. In one example, the mouthpiece includes a percolator causing airflow to change direction at least once. During operation, a user grasps the vaporizing device using the handle and attaches a heating tip to the heating adapter connector. Next, the user activates the heating tip, vaporizes smoking material, and inhales smoke/vapor through the heating adapter connector, through the housing, and out of the mouthpiece.
