The contact image sensor includes: a substrate; an array of sensing units, formed above the substrate; a first insulation structure, formed over the sensing units and the substrate; a number of focusing units, formed above the first insulation structure, each focusing unit is aligned above a corresponding sensing unit with the first insulation structure sandwiched therebetween; a conductive metal layer, linked to a control circuit; an array of Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) units, formed above the conductive metal layer and connected thereto; a transparent conductive layer, formed above the array of OLED units, and connected to the control circuit to control the statuses of the OLED units; and a transparent insulation structure, formed above the transparent conductive layer.

Abstract: A display device and a method for using the display device are provided. The display device includes a display panel, a grating panel over the display panel, and a distance adjusting mechanism for adjusting a distance between the display panel and the grating panel to provide an adjustable optimum viewing distance of the display device. The distance adjusting mechanism includes a first electromagnetic unit configured with the grating panel and a second electromagnetic unit configured under the display panel. Electric current flowing through each of the first electromagnetic unit and the second electromagnetic unit is controlled to allow the grating panel to move towards or away from the display panel.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a write request processing method, a processor, and a computer. A first computer is connected to a second computer, respective operating systems run on the first computer and the second computer respectively, the first computer includes a first processor, the first processor is connected to a second processor of the second computer by using a system bus, the first computer includes a first memory address space, a second memory address space of the second computer is a mirror address space of the first memory address space, and the first processor mirrors data written into the first memory address space to the second memory address space by using the system bus, which can reduce mirroring operation latency and improve IOPS performance of a system.

Abstract: A method of making a housing includes: providing a substrate and cutting the substrate to form an opening. The substrate being spaced by the opening to form at least one main base. A plurality of metal sheets and a plurality of reinforcing members are provided. Placing the metal sheets, the reinforcing members and the main base into a mold. The metal sheets is positioned in the opening, adjusts width of each gap between adjacent metal sheets, and between the main base and one metal sheet adjacent to the main base. Locating the reinforcing members in the metal sheets and the main base. Liquid resin is filled into the gaps and covers the reinforcing members to bond the metal sheets, the main base and the reinforcing members together, forming the housing.

Abstract: Schema-less databases can make data modeling and data management difficult and can detrimentally affect integration with an RDBMS. Inferring a schema from a schema-less database can improve integration by indicating a structure or organization of data in the schema-less database. A schema analyzer can infer a schema by processing data of the schema-less database to identify statistically significant data fields. The schema analyzer then creates a schema that comprises the statistically significant data fields. A data modeler can use the resulting schema along with a schema for a RDBMS to generate a unified data model. A user may submit a query based on the unified data model to obtain results from both databases. The data modeler translates the query from the unified model to be compatible with each of the schemas so that data may be written to or retrieved from each of the schema-less database and the RDBMS.

Abstract: Techniques for implicit coscheduling of CPUs to improve corun performance of scheduled contexts are described. One technique minimizes skew by implementing corun migrations, and another technique minimizes skew by implementing a corun bonus mechanism. Skew between schedulable contexts may be calculated based on guest progress, where guest progress represents time spent executing guest operating system and guest application code. A non-linear skew catch-up algorithm is described that adjusts the progress of a context when the progress falls far behind its sibling contexts.

Abstract: Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to user experience oriented audio signal processing. There is provided a method for user experience oriented audio signal processing. The method includes obtaining a first audio signal from an audio sensor of an electronic device; computing, based on the first audio signal, a compensation factor for an acoustic path from the electronic device to a listener and applying the compensation factor to a second audio signal outputted from the electronic device. Abstract: A device, an apparatus and a method for supporting multi-battery quick charge are disclosed. The apparatus includes an adapter, a processor, a charge chip and a voltage adjustment circuit. The adapter includes a DP port, a DM port, a charge voltage output port and a ground port. A first adjustment port and a second adjustment port are disposed on the processor. The voltage adjustment circuit includes a first adjustment branch and a second adjustment branch. The charge voltage output port is connected to the charge chip, the first adjustment branch is respectively connected to the DP port and the first adjustment port, and the second adjustment branch is respectively connected to the DM port and the second adjustment port. By means of the device, apparatus and method for supporting multi-battery quick charge according to embodiments of the present disclosure, the problem that currently quick charge for electronic devices that use multiple batteries cannot be performed is resolved.

Abstract: A method and a device for estimating a state of a power system are provided. The method includes: dividing the power system into a plurality of sub-systems; establishing a first linear model of the power system for a first stage; solving the first linear model by an alternating direction multiplier method to obtain the intermediate state variables of each sub-system; performing a nonlinear transformation at a second stage on the intermediate state variables to obtain intermediate measured values; establishing a second linear model of the power system for a third stage according to the intermediate measured values; and solving the third linear model by the alternating direction multiplier method to obtain the final state variables of each sub-system.

Abstract: A plasma abatement process for abating effluent containing compounds from a processing chamber is described. A plasma abatement process takes gaseous foreline effluent from a processing chamber, such as a deposition chamber, and reacts the effluent within a plasma chamber placed in the foreline path. The plasma dissociates the compounds within the effluent, converting the effluent into more benign compounds. Abating reagents may assist in the abating of the compounds. The abatement process may be a volatizing or a condensing abatement process. Representative volatilizing abating reagents include, for example, CH4, H2O, H2, NF3, SF6, F2, HCl, HF, Cl2, and HBr. Representative condensing abating reagents include, for example, H2, H2O, O2, N2, O3, CO, CO2, NH3, N2O, CH4, and combinations thereof.

An image input device captures an image and/or video of surroundings. An object detector detects partially occluded pedestrians and other objects in received image information. The detection of a partially occluded pedestrian is verified when a detection window of the partially occluded pedestrian overlaps with a detection window of an occluding object, and the occluding object window is closer to the image input device than the partially occluded object window. Optionally, a range-finding sensor, such as a LIDAR device, determines a range to objects located in the direction of the partially occluded object. The detection of the partially occluded object is verified when the range of one of the other objects located in the direction of the partially occluded object is less than that of the partially occluded object.
