A key-value store engine may execute a first transaction satisfying the first transaction request, using a key-value store of pre-calculated results determined prior to receipt of the first transaction request, and based on the data, and may update a key-value delta reflecting a change, if any, of the key-value store caused by the first transaction. A relational store engine may cause the at least one processor to execute a second transaction satisfying the second transaction request, using a relational store including a subset of the data, and may update a relational delta reflecting a change, if any, of the relational store caused by the second transaction.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for data transmission in a communication network. In the present invention, additional frequency spectrum resources in an assistant wireless network are introduced by constructing emulation data channels for use by a user equipment in a cellular network, thereby expanding the resources in the cellular network and enhancing throughput of the cellular network. In addition, the original control channels between the base station and the user equipment in the cellular network are maintained, enabling the user equipment to have the quality of service QoS in the cellular network when using the assistant wireless network to transmit data, and sparing the user equipment from handover operations in establishing or releasing the emulation data channels, thereby complicated network control and management mechanisms used for the handover are not needed and thus the user experience is further enhanced.

Abstract: A tunable resistance system includes a layer of a first functional material deposited on a component of the system. The first functional material undergoes a phase transition at a first critical voltage. An insulating layer is deposited upon the layer of first functional material. A layer of a second functional material deposited on the insulating layer. The second functional material undergoes a phase transition at a second critical voltage. The insulating layer is configured to induce a stress on the layer so as to change the first critical voltage. In this way, the resistance of the system is tunable, allowing the system to undergo multi-stage electrical switching of resistive states.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for transmitting keepalive information, a terminal, and a network device. The method includes: transmitting, by a terminal, first information to a network device, where the first information is used to instruct the network device to determine keepalive information to be received; the terminal transmits keepalive information to the network device, where the network device is configured to optimize the keepalive information. With the present invention, signaling loads are reduced.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method, device, and system for processing an IPv6 packet, and relates to the field of Internet technologies. According to the present disclosure, a secure access, authentication, and authorization can be ensured in an IPv6 network, and different IPv6 address prefixes are allocated to different terminals. Therefore, normal routing in the network is ensured. A method for processing an IPv6 packet provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an access node adds access line information to an IPv6 packet; and forwards the IPv6 packet that is added with the access line information to an IP edge node. The present disclosure is applicable to a scenario of processing a packet in an IPv6 network.

Abstract: Methods for generating hydrogen gas and power and related systems, including a hydrogen generator and a fuel cell system. The hydrogen generator includes a cartridge, a housing with a cavity to removably contain the cartridge, and an initiation system. The cartridge includes a casing; a plurality of pellets including a hydrogen containing material; a plurality of solid heat transfer members in contact with but not penetrating the casing; a hydrogen outlet in the casing; and a hydrogen flow path from each pellet to the hydrogen outlet. A plurality of heating elements is disposed inside the housing. Each heating element is disposed so heat can be conducted from the heating element through the casing to corresponding heat transfer member to initiate the release of hydrogen gas. The initiation system can selectively heat one or more pellets. Hydrogen gas can be provided to a fuel cell battery to generate power.

Abstract: A suture fixation system includes a suture assembly having an anchor, an introducer, and a delivery device. The introducer is attachable to a finger of a person and includes a platform attached to an exterior of the introducer and a zip line attached to the platform. The delivery device is movable along the zip line and configured to removably retain the anchor. The introducer allows the finger to identify a target landmark within a patient and the delivery device is movable along the zip line and attachable to the platform to position the anchor for insertion to the target landmark.

Abstract: An off-line regulator has a rectification circuit configured to rectify an AC line voltage into a rectified line voltage, a pass device coupled between the rectified line voltage and a first capacitor, and a converter. The pass device is configured to be turned ON or OFF according to a comparison signal indicating whether the rectified line voltage is over a threshold voltage. The first capacitor delivers an interim voltage into the converter which supplies power to a load. Wherein a second capacitor coupled across a driver which driving the pass device is charged by the first capacitor when the comparison signal is at a first state, and the driver is boosted when the comparison signal is at a second state.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel system and method for identifying individuals and for face recognition utilizing facial features for face identification. The system and method of the invention comprise creating facial features or face patterns called face pattern words and face pattern bytes for face identification. The invention also provides for pattern recognitions for identification other than face recognition. The invention further provides a means for identifying individuals based on visible and/or thermal images of those individuals by utilizing computer software implemented by instructions on a computer or computer system and a computer readable medium containing instructions on a computer system for face recognition and identification.
