Abstract: A method of determining a failure event of consumable for a plasma torch is provided. The method includes monitoring at least one of an operating current or an operating voltage during a transfer arc mode of the plasma arc torch. The method also includes determining when at least one parameter associated with the operating current or the operating voltage exceeds a tolerance threshold for a time period indicative of the failure event. The method further includes shutting off at least one of the operating current or the operating voltage of the plasma arc torch when the at least one parameter exceeds the tolerance threshold for the time period.

Abstract: A battery cover assembly for an electronic device includes a main body and a battery cover detachably attached to the main body. The main body includes at least one latching portion, at least one opening, and an engagement portion adjacent to the at least one opening. The battery cover includes at least one protrusion, at least one extending block and a retaining member adjacent to the at least one extending block. The at least one protrusion is slidably latched with the at least one latching portion. The at least one extending block engages into the at least one opening, and the retaining member is pressed to assembled with the engagement portion.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a chassis including a sidewall, a power supply mounted to an inner surface of the sidewall of the chassis, a power cord connected to the power supply, and a cable binding apparatus. The cable binding apparatus includes a first tie detachably mounted to the sidewall of the chassis, and a fixing member movably installed to the first tie. The fixing member includes a board. A second tie and a first fixing portion for fixing the power cord are formed at a side of the board; a second fixing portion for fixing the first tie is formed at the other side of the board opposite to first blocking portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method, device, and system for processing an IPv6 packet, and relates to the field of Internet technologies. According to the present disclosure, a secure access, authentication, and authorization can be ensured in an IPv6 network, and different IPv6 address prefixes are allocated to different terminals. Therefore, normal routing in the network is ensured. A method for processing an IPv6 packet provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: an access node adds access line information to an IPv6 packet; and forwards the IPv6 packet that is added with the access line information to an IP edge node. The present disclosure is applicable to a scenario of processing a packet in an IPv6 network.

Abstract: The present technology provides LED drivers with audible noise elimination and methods thereof. A burst dimming signal is used in the LED driver. A switch is serially coupled to the output capacitor of the LED driver and controlled by the burst dimming signal for eliminating any audible noise.

Abstract: An electrical machine comprises a casing (1), an oil inlet hole (7), an oil passage (2), oil outlet holes (3), a stator retainer (8), a casing end cover (10), a stator iron core (5), winding coils (6), slot insulations (12) and oil-guides (4). The oil passage (2) is located inside the casing (1) and links with the oil inlet hole (7) of the casing (1) and the oil outlet holes (3) of the stator retainer (8). The oil outlet holes (3) are located above the winding coils (6) and the oil-guides (4) are located between the oil outlet holes (3) and the winding coils (6). Oil entering from the oil inlet hole (7) pours onto the winding coils (6) by the guidance of the oil-guides (4) after flowing through the oil passage (2) and flowing out of the oil outlet holes (3). The winding coils of the electrical machine can be effectively cooled and the electrical machine can achieve higher thermal durability. An oil cooling method for the electrical machine is also provided.

Abstract: A Treponema pallidum triplet antigen construct is disclosed which includes three Treponema pallidum antigens (TP15, TP17, and TP47), as well as a ten amino acid leader sequence (tag 261) and human copper zinc superoxide dismutase (hSOD). This construct is optimized for in vitro diagnosis of syphilis infection. Plasmids containing DNA encoding the triplet antigen, host cells, production methods, detection methods, and kits are also disclosed.

Abstract: A cost-effective and practical antimicrobial glaze system and glazing process is disclosed herein. The antimicrobial glaze/enamel may comprise at least two layers: a base layer and a top layer. The base layer may contain a typical or normal glaze widely used in sanitary ware, having a low level of zinc oxide. The base layer glaze may be directly sprayed on the clay body surface. A thin top glaze layer is sprayed on top of the base glaze layer and the top layer may contain a high level of zinc oxide.

Abstract: An optical multiplexer/demultiplexer is described. In this optical multiplexer/demultiplexer, multiple coupled-waveguide grating devices are optically coupled to a bus optical waveguide. A given coupled-waveguide grating device has a band-pass filter characteristic that encompasses multiple optical channels, thereby providing coarse optical filtering. Moreover, the optical multiplexer/demultiplexer includes multiple add/drop filters (such as ring resonators) that optically couple to the coupled-waveguide grating devices. A given add/drop filter has a filter bandwidth corresponding to a given optical channel, thereby providing fine optical filtering. Furthermore, the band-pass filter characteristic of the given coupled-waveguide grating device is approximately equal to or less than a free spectral range (FSR) of the given add/drop filter.

Abstract: An example apparatus is provided that receives a pseudonym and encrypted identifier, where the pseudonym is of a user's personal data. The pseudonym has been generated using a first secret key, and the encrypted identifier has been generated by encrypting the identifier using a second secret key. The first and second secret keys are known to other user(s) authorized to access the data, and are unknown to the apparatus. The operations also include storing the personal data in a database under the pseudonym, and indexed by the encrypted identifier. The keys used for encryption and pseudorandom generation can be provided by a second apparatus (e.g. an offline security manager), which may employ a proxy re-encryption scheme to provide proper keys to the apparatus based on access policies. Only the authorized users can decrypt the keys with their private keys, thus can query the user records stored in the apparatus.

Abstract: A method and system for adaptive discriminant learning and measurement fusion for image based catheter tracking is disclosed. An adaptive discriminant model is trained online based on a tracked object, such as a pigtail catheter tip, in at least one previous frame of a fluoroscopic image sequence. The object is tracked in the current frame of the fluoroscopic image sequence based at least on the adaptive discriminant model trained online. The object may be tracked in the current frame based on a fusion of three types of measurement models including the adaptive discriminant model trained online, an object detection model trained offline, and an online appearance model.

Abstract: A method controls probe measurement using an electronic device. The method receives user-defined identification data of a probe if a preset configuration file is not stored in a storage device of the electronic device, and fits a three dimensional (3D) model of the probe according to the user-defined identification data of the probe. The method further updates the user-defined identification data of the probe if the fitted 3D model does not match the probe, or stores the user-defined identification data of the probe in a user-defined configuration file if the fitted 3D model matches the probe, and controls the probe to execute measurement according to the user-defined configuration file.

Abstract: Microwave assisted synthesis may be used to produce water-repellent metallic organic frameworks (MOFs) molecules. The water-repellent MOFs contain non-polar functional groups, such as a trifluoromethoxy group, which has a strong water repellent effect. The water-repellent MOF, when exposed to water vapor for one week does not result in a significant X-ray power pattern change. The water-repellent MOFs may be suitable as an adsorbent in many industrial applications, such as gas chromatography.

Abstract: An LED (light emitting diode) lamp includes a lamp body, a cap mounted on an end of the lamp body, a lamp holder mounted on an opposite end of the lamp body, and a plurality of fasteners. The lamp body includes two beams located at two opposite lateral sides thereof and a plurality of separated light emitting modules mounted on the beams side by side. Each of the fasteners extends through the lamp body, the light emitting modules and the cap in series to secure the lamp body, the light emitting modules, and the cap together.

The first and second hard disks both each have a composite receptacle. The hard disk connecting mechanism includes a frame for mounting the first and the second hard disks and a composite connector detachably positioned in the frame. The composite connector includes a base, a first composite plug engaged with the composite receptacle of the first hard disk and a second composite plug engaged with the composite receptacle of the second hard disk.
