    Abstract: A room temperature curable water-based mold release agent that is useful for demolding composite parts, such as epoxy and polyester based polymer materials. The mold release agent is curable at low temperatures, such as room temperature, but is thermally stable up to conventional epoxy based composite molding temperatures, e.g., greater than 200 or 280° C. The mold release agent is useful for demolding large composite parts that are cured in large ovens at high temperature when the molds themselves are prepped at room temperature before placing in the oven. The mold release agent is also useful for demolding polyester composite parts that are prepared and cured at low temperature such as room temperature.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to improvements to the support vector machine (SVM) classification model. When text data is significantly unbalanced (i.e., positive and negative labeled data are in disproportion), the classification quality of standard SVM deteriorates. Embodiments of the invention are directed to a weighted proximal SVM (WPSVM) model that achieves substantially the same accuracy as the traditional SVM model while requiring significantly less computational time. A weighted proximal SVM (WPSVM) model in accordance with embodiments of the invention may include a weight for each training error and a method for estimating the weights, which automatically solves the unbalanced data problem.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed for communicating using a device having a Palm OS. SMB is preferentially used to communicate with a node, and if use of SMB is not possible, FTP is used, and if use of FTP is not possible, Bluetooth is used. If FTP or Bluetooth is selected as the protocol, file sharing between the device and node that entails a read or write is executed by temporarily copying a file to an internal Palm OS memory of the device, performing the read or write on the file, and then copying the file back to the node to overwrite a previous version of the file at the node. For non-Palm OS file transfer to the internal memory, the file is wrapped in a Palm OS stream in the internal memory for executing reads or writes. For file transfer to an expansion Palm OS memory card, byte-to-byte copying of the file is executed using the FAT of the expansion memory, with the file being transferred through an internal Palm OS memory of the device.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus to eliminate contaminants in a lithography process for fabrication of integrated circuit devices. The method includes depositing a photoresist material on surface of a semiconductor substrate. A purge gas flow is provided proximate to an optical element to prevent a vapor from the exposed photoresist material from coming into contact with the optical element. In one embodiment, the purge gas flows into a perforated and open ended enclosure in which the optical element is provided in the form of a lens. One open end of the enclosure is coupled to the lens and the other open end is positioned above the surface of the semiconductor substrate. Perforation of the enclosure facilitates movement of purge gas thereto, eliminating contact with the vapor from the developed resist and unwanted deposition of a solid contamination on the lens.
