Abstract: A method and a system for maintaining session continuity, in which the system includes a Handover Source Function (HOSF), a Handover Destination Function (HODF), a Handover Anchor Function-Control Plane (HOAF-CP) and a Handover Anchor Function-User Plane (HOAF-UP). The method includes a first user establishing a connection through the HOSF with the HOAF-CP and the HOAF-UP which correspond to a second user, so as to establish a session with the second user. The method further includes that, during session handover, the HODF that corresponds to the HOSF establishing another connection with the HOAF-CP and HOAF-UP though which the first user continues the session with the second user, so as to maintain the session continuity. When access address or access technology of the terminal changes, or even the terminal changes during a session, the method and the system can logically replace the connection before the handover with a new connection to ensure the session continuity.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a crown-shaped separation device for separating oil and water in a well. Separator joints are sleeved on a central tube, and a separator is arranged between adjacent separator joints. Settlement cups are sleeved on the central tube, and two adjacent settlement cups are inserted together. A multi-rib separating bowl is embedded in the settlement cup. The settlement cup is crown shape. The bottom of the settlement cup is formed with multiple ribs. An angle is formed between the convex rib of the bottom of the settlement cup and the horizontal line. The top edge of the settlement cup is sawtooth shape corresponding to the shape of the cup bottom. An annular space is formed between the cup base of the settlement cup and the central tube. The central tube corresponding to the annular space is provided with a fluid inlet.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for bearer independent protocol gateway performance optimization are described. In one aspect, a bearer independent protocol gateway is provided in the device which includes a traffic analyzer configured to detect when HTTP transaction(s) (request and corresponding responses) is/are completed and to switch to the next socket as soon as the transaction is completed, without necessarily waiting for the TCP socket to be closed. For example, when the gateway detects that the response is complete, it may push the current socket back into a socket queue and start serving the next socket.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for controlling pests are provided. The methods involve transforming organisms with a nucleic acid sequence encoding an insecticidal protein. In particular, the nucleic acid sequences are useful for preparing plants and microorganisms that possess insecticidal activity. Thus, transformed bacteria, plants, plant cells, plant tissues and seeds are provided. Compositions are insecticidal nucleic acids and proteins of bacterial species. The sequences find use in the construction of expression vectors for subsequent transformation into organisms of interest, as probes for the isolation of other homologous (or partially homologous) genes. The insecticidal proteins find use in controlling, inhibiting growth or killing lepidopteran, coleopteran, dipteran, fungal, hemipteran, and nematode pest populations and for producing compositions with insecticidal activity.

Abstract: The invention provides a rabbit-derived immortal B-lymphocyte capable of fusion with a rabbit splenocyte to produce a hybrid cell that produces an antibody. The immortal B-lymphocyte does not detectably express endogenous immunoglobulin heavy chain and may contain, in certain embodiments, an altered immunoglobulin heavy chain-encoding gene. A hybridoma resulting from fusion between the subject immortal B-lymphocyte and a rabbit antibody-producing cell is provided, as is a method of using that hybridoma to produce an antibody. The subject invention finds use in a variety of different diagnostic, therapeutic and research applications.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for improving polyimide (PI) non-adherence to a substrate and a PI solution. The method includes the following steps: (1) providing a substrate and a PI solution, the PI solution comprising PI molecules and a solvent, the PI molecules having hydrophobic moieties; and (2) coating the PI solution on the substrate to form a PI film. The PI solution includes PI molecules and a solvent. The PI molecules have hydrophobic moieties. The solvent includes N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, ?-butyrolactone, butyl carbonate, or a mixture thereof. The PI molecules of the PI solution contain hydrophobic moieties and in coating the PI solution to a substrate, the hydrophobic moieties link with organic compounds on the substrate thereby enhancing affinity of the PI solution with surface of the substrate, improving the issue of PI non-adherence, and the heightening quality of printing the substrate.

The method comprises: receiving, by a mobile application gateway, a request for activating the mobile terminal, the request including an unique identification number of the mobile terminal; querying, by the mobile application gateway, a HLR for address of a SGSN where the mobile terminal is located; returning, by the HLR, the queried address of SGSN to the mobile application gateway; sending, by the mobile application gateway, the request for activating the mobile terminal to the SGSN; issuing, by the SGSN, a request to the mobile terminal, requiring the mobile terminal to issue a mobile terminal initiated PDP context activation request. The method enables an instant messaging user at a mobile terminal to automatically open an IP connection if there is any message to be received after the IP connection is closed.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for performing on die jitter tolerance testing. A set of clocks are generated based on an input signal. The set of clocks include in an in-phase signal based on the data switching edge of the input signal. Additionally, the set of clocks include an inverted clock phase shifted by 180 degrees, and a pair of clocks phase shifted positively and negatively by a certain number of degrees, ?. Data input is sampled based on the inverted clock and the two phase shifted clocks. The eye opening of the input signal can be determined based on whether each of the inverted clock and the two phase shifted clocks sample the correct data from the input signal at various ? values.

Abstract: A Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) data transmit-receive protocol that can be used with an arbitrary light array, including one or more lights, that transmits light to a light receiver having an image sensor, including a large number of light sensing pixels. The protocol supports two primary protocol or coding modes in which the light array may transmit: spatial coding and space-time coding. The protocol is constructed upon the use of efficient start-frame-delimiters (SFDs) and data-delimiters (DDs). The lights may be implemented to transmit the SFDs, the data delimiters, and data bits as modulated light. The light may be modulated in accordance with a modulation technique referred to as frequency shift on-off keying (FSOOK).

Abstract: Technology is discussed for supporting wireless communication paths from an antenna array with a vertical directional component. Examples reduce training feedback for increased numbers of communication paths by only reporting on a subset of Reference Signals (RSs) provided for various vertical beam configurations. Additional examples reduce feedback with virtual measurements based on a difference between RS measurements. One such measurement can come from full set of RSs for a reference beam configuration and another from a partial set of RSs for an additional beam configuration. Such virtual measurements can also be based on cross correlation for beamforming weights associated with the two configurations. Several examples of preparing and sending measurement reports consistent with Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Long Term Evolution (LTE) standards are discussed.

Abstract: A golden finger and a board edge interconnecting device are disclosed. The golden finger includes a printed circuit board (PCB) surface layer and at least one PCB inner layer, where a metal foil of the PCB inner layer is connected to a metal foil of the PCB surface layer through a current-carrying structure, so that a current-carrying channel of the golden finger passes through the PCB surface layer and the PCB inner layer. The board edge interconnecting device includes the foregoing golden finger. In the embodiments, a current-carrying capacity of a PCB in the golden finger is increased without increasing a size and thickness of a copper foil of the PCB in the golden finger, thereby effectively improving the current-carrying capacity of the PCB in the golden finger.

The access transistor includes at least one source/drain region, and the antifuse has a conductor-insulator-conductor structure. A first surface of the first electrode is coupled to a first surface of the antifuse dielectric, a second surface of the antifuse dielectric is coupled to a first surface of the second conductor. The second conductor is electrically coupled to the access transistor's source/drain region. The antifuse is adapted to transition from an open circuit state to a closed circuit state if a programming voltage Vpp greater than or equal to an antifuse dielectric breakdown voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second conductor.
