Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for monitoring and controlling devices in an infrastructure. The system 100 and method 1100 comprise devices 105, 106, 107 and 108, wherein devices are continuously monitored and controlled based upon set points. Further comprises sensor 104 and switch 111 units comprising sensors and connectivity 102 and 109 with devices and a primary 103 or a central server 101. Primary servers 103 are configured to couple with central server 101, wherein a processor 209 in primary server 103 is configured to execute instructions stored in a memory coupled with primary server 103. The programmed instructions comprise instructions for receiving inputs from the sensors, wherein the sensors are configured to sense operating parameters of the devices and predefined parameters in the infrastructure. Further comprises processing, sensor inputs to determine events for monitoring and controlling the devices. The events comprise asset and energy management.
