  • Patent number: 11624444
Abstract: The present invention discloses a gate valve with a first side and a second side relative the throughbore. A circular body cavity is on the first side and a rectangular body cavity on the second side and a portion of the first side whereby the gate is operable to move up and down within the body cavities. Due to the rectangular body cavity, the seats are slimmer than the gate. A skirt assembly is used which is inserted over the gate to cover the gate opening when the gate is moved to the closed position to prevent debris and other contaminants from entering the body cavity. Four U-shaped seals are mounted to provide that the gate valve is a bidirectional gate valve with upstream sealing having back up downstream sealing in case an upstream seal fails.

  • Publication number: 20230031393
Abstract: A manual operator a hydraulic operator is connected to move a gate within a gate valve body between a valve open and a valve closed position. The manual operator is used to operate the gate valve when the hydraulic operator is not used. On the other hand, a handwheel for the manual operator can be removed when the hydraulic actuator is used to operate the gate valve.

  • Patent number: 11009419
Abstract: A pressure gauge flange assembly for connection to pressure equipment and a pressure gauge. The pressure gauge flange assembly has a flange housing with a flange at a lower portion that connects to pressure equipment such as a BOP. Within the flange housing a chamber is provided that is separated into two chambers by a piston. The piston is moveable to balance pressure in the two chambers. Fluid from the pressure equipment may be dirty. On the other side of the piston, clean fluid is provided so that any dirty hydraulic fluid from the pressure equipment does not impair operation of the pressure gauge.

  • Patent number: 10663068
Abstract: A wedge guide has two wedge surfaces. The first angled surface engages a first seat retainer positioned on one side of a gate to lock the first seat retainer in a first pocket. The wedge guide has a second angled surface that engages a second seat retainer on the other side of the gate that locks the second seat retainer in a second pocket. The wedge guide does not affect the movement of the seats that move axially between the gate and the respective seat retainers. Two wedge guides are preferably utilized on opposite non-sealing sides of the gate so that the gate slides between them.
