  • Publication number: 20090021033
Abstract: The tweezers include first and second elongated object retaining members. Each of the retaining members has a forward section and a rear section. A body is situated between the retaining members. The forward sections of the retaining members are movable between a position remote from each other and a position wherein the forward sections are proximate to each other, so as to retain an object therebetween. The body includes means for illuminating an object retained by the retaining members. The body also carries a magnifying lens and means for mounting the lens on the body for movement between a position aligned with the retained object and a position remote from the retained object. The present invention permits the user to illuminate and magnify a retained object using one hand, while the other hand is free to perform other tasks.

  • Patent number: 7264143
Abstract: The apparatus is designed to dispense an aerosol product from a pressurized cylindrical cannister having a depressible nozzle at one end. The dispenser is pistol-shaped, formed of a generally cylindrical body and a downwardly extending handle with a trigger. The body defines an elongated recess adapted to receive and engage the cannister, with the nozzle situated substantially along the axis of the body. The dispenser body has a nose part moveably mounted in the front end. Means are provided for connecting the trigger to move the nose part relative to the body to depress the canister nozzle such that the product is released through an opening in the nose part.

  • Patent number: 7251896
Abstract: The clipper has a cylindrical housing including a handle containing a battery and motor and a head pivotally mounted on the handle. The head carries a stationary blade and a reciprocating blade. Motion is transmitted from the motor to the reciprocating blade through a flexible rod. One end of the rod is connected to a protrusion offset from the axis of a gear connected to the output shaft on the motor. The other end of the arm carries the reciprocating blade. A control button is provided on the head. The control button can be manipulated to disengage the handle, to permit the head to be pivoted relative to the handle.
