    Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for detect tags to determine perishability of food items. A merchant may utilize detector tags on, attached to, or otherwise associated with perishable items to detect conditions of the perishable items. For example, the detector tags may determine chemical properties, ambient light levels, temperatures, or other conditions for or around the perishable items. The conditions may be communicated by the tags to a user's device or the merchant's device. Where the conditions indicate that one or more of the perishable items are ready for consumption, the user may be alerted of a state of the perishable item, such as ready or ripe. The user may further be informed of where to find the perishable item in the merchant's location. However, if the perishable item has gone bad, the user and/or merchant may be warned about the item to prevent health issues.

A user may place a voice call to an entity, for example, through a plain old telephone service (POTS) or through voice over IP. The voice call may be detected by a service provider, which may determine whether the entity receiving the voice call requires authentication of the user during the voice call. The service provider may further determine whether the entity requires authentication of the user for use of an account with the service provider. The service provider may communicate information used to authenticate the user to the entity during the voice call. Additionally, the service provider may generate an authentication mechanism for the payment account, which may be used to authenticate use of the payment account by the user during the voice call.

The wireless communications circuitry may include radio-frequency transceiver circuitry and antenna structures. The antenna structures may form a dual arm inverted-F antenna. The antenna may have a resonating element formed from portions of a peripheral conductive electronic device housing member and may have an antenna ground that is separated from the antenna resonating element by a gap. A short circuit path may bridge the gap. An antenna feed may be coupled across the gap in parallel with the short circuit path. Low band tuning may be provided using an adjustable inductor that bridges the gap. The antenna may have a slot-based parasitic antenna resonating element with a slot formed between portions of the peripheral conductive electronic device housing member and the antenna ground. An adjustable capacitor may bridge the slot to provide high band tuning.

A screw may attach the clip, a speaker tab, a connector bracket, and other metal structures to a metal device housing that serves as ground for the antenna. The screw may be isolated from the antenna grounding clip and the other metal structures by an insulating structure such as an insulating gasket.
