    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for mitigating antenna puncturing arising from sounding reference signaling (SRS) are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a mobile device includes a radio that controls a front-end system to perform a sounding reference signaling for a first frequency band on a plurality of antennas. The radio is further operable to decode all of the plurality of data paths for a radio configuration in which a subset of the plurality of antennas are used for receiving data layers of the second frequency band, the radio configuration avoiding an antenna puncturing scenario arising from the sounding reference signaling.

In certain embodiments, a mobile device includes a front-end system operable to transmit over a first frequency band and to a receive over a second frequency band. The mobile device includes a radio operable to detect an antenna puncturing scenario arising from SRS signaling for the first frequency band for a first radio configuration in which each antenna of a group of antennas are used for receiving a data layer of the second frequency band. In response to detecting the antenna puncturing scenario, the radio indicates to a base station a second radio configuration in which a subset of the group of antennas are used at a given time for receiving the second frequency band to avoid the antenna puncturing scenario.

    Abstract: Radio frequency front-end systems with filter reuse. In certain embodiments, a front-end system includes a filter, a low noise amplifier (LNA), and a switch interposed between the filter and an input to the LNA. In a first state of the switch, the filter serves to filter a radio frequency signal that is amplified by the LNA. The front-end system further includes a power amplifier that is coupled to the switch. Additionally, in a second state of the switch, the filter serves to filter an amplified radio frequency transmit signal provided by the power amplifier. Accordingly, a filter along a receive path of the front-end system is reused for transmit.

    Abstract: A fluid composition which is able to exhibit elastic turbulence while pumped through a flow path which compels changes of direction of flow streamlines and comprise a solution of two or more flexible linear polymers in two categories. The first category has an average molecular weight of at least 10 MegaDaltons and the second category has an average molecular weight in a range from 0.25 to 5 MegaDaltons. The concentration of the first polymer is sufficient to enable elastic turbulence with or without the second category. The concentration of the second category is greater than that of the first. When flowing under low shear towards or away from a chamber where the flow path will induce elastic turbulence, the second category polymer reduces elastic instabilities and consequent pressure drop, thereby reducing pumping energy requirement.

An example embodiment operates by training and operating a first machine learning model to predict a sustainable network bandwidth. A second machine learning model is trained to receive the sustainable network bandwidth and predict a likelihood that this network bandwidth will not empty a data buffer of streaming data. A bitrate is selected based on the likelihood being below a threshold percentage, such as 50%.

In an embodiment, a streaming media client receives an audio/video (A/V) stream that represents a portion of content to be played back by the client. The client reconstructs a sequence of video frames from the A/V stream, extracts audio information from the A/V stream, and executes an ML based classifier to predict a context label associated with the portion of content based at least on one or more video frames from the sequence of video frames and the audio information. The client then transmits the context label to a streaming media service. The service may use the context label to select an advertisement or content recommendation to send to the client or to select a set of content streaming parameters for the client.
