  • Publication number: 20250242279
Abstract: A bubble trap device is provided comprising: a housing including an inner wall region defining a chamber to enclose a fluid; a fluid guide; a first fluid conduit located within the fluid guide and extending between a first opening in the inner wall region and a first surface opening located in the first surface region; a second fluid conduit located within the fluid guide and extending between a second housing opening in the inner wall region and a second surface opening located in the second surface region; one or more third fluid conduits located at a perimeter region of the fluid guide and extending between the first chamber region and the second chamber region; wherein the fluid guide has a contour to direct fluid flowing between the first fluid conduit and the second fluid conduit to flow through one or more of the one or more third fluid conduits.

  • Publication number: 20250029120
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for identifying an item that is counterfeit in the marketplace. Sales of counterfeit items in marketplaces, particularly at auction places, have been an issue. There has been a need to automatically detect an item that is counterfeit when a seller submits the item for sale in the marketplace. The disclosed technology receives information about an item for transaction. The information associated with the item includes metadata related to the item and an image of the item. The method uses a database of items that are known to be not for sale (e.g., a stock photo) or is otherwise a counterfeit item. The method matches the data of the item against the data in the database and identifies the item as counterfeit based on the matched result. The matching operation includes analyzing the data (e.g., image analyses using features of the image data).

  • Publication number: 20220351208
Abstract: Systems and methods provide determining a reputation score of a buyer of a transaction of an item. An online shopping server receives buyer information and determines the reputation score of the buyer based on a transaction history of the buyer. The reputation score corresponds to a transaction type (e.g., a credit card transaction and a prepaid cash transaction) in varied levels of burden on the buyer. The online shopping server permits a buyer with a lower reputation score with a type of transaction that is higher in burden to perform for the buyer. The online shopping server performs the transaction based on the determined transaction type. The online shopping server updates the reputation score of the buyer based on a result of the transaction. Sellers of items uses reputation scores of buyers for providing distinguished sales items to buyers with higher reputations.

  • Patent number: 9043825
Abstract: Example apparatus and methods concern selectively accepting or rejecting content based on ratings identifier information included in the content. Example apparatus and methods facilitate identifying a content fragment (e.g., f-MP4 fragment) to be rejected based on an identifier located in the fragment rather than information located in some external source (e,g., Event Information Table (EIT)). One example method includes identifying a fragment based on a ratings identifier encoded as a universally unique identifier (UUID) in the fragment and then selectively accepting or rejecting the fragment based on the rating. Rather than rely only on a predicted start time, a predicted end time, a predicted source, and a pre determined coarse-grained rating, example apparatus and methods may be better prepared to account for unanticipated start times, ending times, schedule changes, and source changes, and may provide finer grained user control based on ratings carried in content.
