  • Publication number: 20230226638
Abstract: Wiring is disclosed herein that is configured to supply IRE ablation signals through a catheter body and is resistant against dielectric breakdown, arcing, and noise during ablation. The wiring includes a highly conductive core, a conductive cover surrounding the core that has lower electrical and/or thermal conductivity than the core, and an insulative jacket surrounding the conductive cover. A catheter including such wiring may be suitable for supplying electrical signals to tissue to perform IRE ablation. In some examples, such a catheter can also be suitable for reversible electroporation and/or RF ablation.

  • Publication number: 20230181439
Abstract: The invention relates to a personal cleansing composition that delivers enhanced deposition of sunscreens on to the topical surface of the body. The composition more particularly provides for such wash off compositions that ensure that the sunscreens incorporated therein are stable and due to the high deposition on to surface provide high Sun Protection Factor (SPF). This is achieved through combination of two select water-soluble sunscreens in a high surfactant containing composition.

  • Patent number: 11598123
Abstract: A center slide assembly for a multi-point exit device. Upper and lower spool assemblies may be displaced from first positions to second positions along an inner region of a center slide. The displacement of the spool assemblies may displace upper and lower pull cables so as to retract latch mechanisms from extended positions to retracted positions. A first latching pin may be displaced, along with the displacement of the upper spool assembly, along an abutment surface of a tilting link so as to pivotally displace the tilting link from an unlocked position to a locked position. Displacement of the lower spool assembly may displace a second latching pin to a position wherein the second latching pin may be received and retained within a jog of the tilting link when the tilting link is in the locked position, which may thereby retain the associated latch mechanism in the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 11359422
Abstract: Latch mechanisms adapted to prevent unauthorized displacement of a latch bolt from an extended, locked position to a retracted, unlocked position. The latch mechanisms prevent the failure of a latch bolt of one latch mechanism to return to an extended lock position from interfering with the ability of a latch bolt of an inter-related latch mechanism from being able to return to an extended, locked position. Further embodiments provide a mounting bracket mounted to a door to allow the associated latch mechanism to be indirectly secured to the door. Additionally, the mounting bracket may have a plurality of mounting orifices that allow the mounting bracket to be used with a wide range of latch mechanisms, as well as provide adjustable attachment of the latch mechanism to the mounting bracket.

  • Patent number: 10858861
Abstract: A latch mechanism having an adjustment mechanism that adjusts the distance to which a latch bolt extends into a mating recess. The adjustment mechanism may include a driver component and a driven component. Rotation of the driver component about a first axis may displace the driven component, thereby causing the position of the latch bolt to be adjusted along a second axis that is non-parallel to the first axis. According to certain embodiments, the first axis is perpendicular to the second axis. The latch mechanism may also include an inner housing that is displaced as the latch bolt is extended into, and retracted from, a mating recess in an adjacent structure. Further, the position of the inner housing may remain generally static as the position of the latch bolt is adjusted along the second axis via operation of the adjustment mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20200030024
Abstract: A catheter tip may be a fabricated as a planar flexible circuit, e.g., via lithography, as having a first planar segment and a second planar segment that includes various electrodes on different sectors that are insulated from each other. The tip may be deformed to have a non-planar configuration, e.g., cylindrical, and then assembled onto a catheter. The catheter may be used to monitor ECG signals and temperature and to precisely deliver ablative energy to tissues via the various electrodes. ECG signals and temperature may be monitored for one sector while ablation energy is being delivered to another sector.
