  • Publication number: 20230421786
Abstract: A video coder may be configured to code a chroma block of video data as a function of reconstructed luma samples. The video coder may store, during the prediction process for a luma block, a sum of the reconstructed luma sample values for each sub-block of the luma block in a first buffer, and store, during the prediction process for the luma block, an average of the reconstructed luma sample values in a second buffer. The video coder may perform chroma from luma prediction to reconstruct a chroma block of the video data corresponding to the luma block using the sums and the average.

  • Publication number: 20230316438
Abstract: A system that can generate unique identifiers for individual real estate parcels and/or individual structure(s) located on individual real estate parcels using geometric land and/or building information is described. For example, the system can obtain geographical coordinate information and/or topological information that defines a two-dimensional or three-dimensional boundary of a parcel. The system can then determine and assign a unique identifier to the parcel, where the unique identifier is based on the two-dimensional or three-dimensional boundary. As another example, the system can obtain geographical coordinate information and/or structure architectural plans that define a two-dimensional or three-dimensional boundary of a structure. The system can then determine and assign a unique identifier to the structure, where the unique identifier is based on the two-dimensional or three-dimensional boundary of the structure.

  • Patent number: 11042911
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for creating high value data assets from undervalued data. In one example, a method identifies at least one data asset associated with an enterprise which has a lower non-economic valuation score as compared with one or more other data assets associated with the enterprise and is determined to be undervalued. The method then combines the at least one identified data asset with at least one of the one or more other data assets to form a composite data asset, wherein the composite data asset has a higher non-economic valuation score as compared to the at least one identified data asset.

  • Patent number: 10721261
Abstract: A data governance method comprises the following steps. One or more data elements associated with an enterprise are identified as one or more critical data elements. A data structure is maintained for the one or more critical data elements. For a given critical data element, the data structure stores information that reflects an impact that the given critical data element had on at least one event associated with the enterprise. The method predicts a risk associated with a subsequent impact that the given critical data element may have on at least one subsequent event associated with the enterprise, wherein the risk of the subsequent impact is predicted using at least a portion of the information stored in the data structure.
