  • Publication number: 20260227085
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically predicting and managing indoor-environmental-control systems. Sensor data is captured from one or more sensors in a room. A location or movement of each person in the room is determined based on the sensor data. One or more vents in the room are identified and at least one indoor-environmental-control adjustment is selected for the at least one vent based on the location or movement of each person in the room. The indoor-environmental-control system is then instructed to facilitate the at least one indoor-environmental-control adjustment.

  • Patent number: 12627858
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are described for detecting occupancy of persons within hotels using ultra-wide band tag and a MATTER protocol. A system may include a set top box (STB) coupled to a hotel management server (HMS) a user device (UD), an ultra-wideband tag (UWT) and an electronic device coupled to the STB located within a hotel room. The STB executes computer instructions which instantiate an STB user location engine (SULE), an STB user preference engine (SUPE) and an STB Room Configure Engine (SRCE). The STB performs STB User Location Operations (SULOs) include scanning at least one ultra-wideband (UWB) frequency for a signal from the UWT, determining whether the UWT, when detected, is within an STB determined distance, receiving an association of at least one user preference with the UWT, and configuring the electronic device in view of the at least one user preference.

  • Publication number: 20260080685
Abstract: An example process for monitoring a parking area may include the step of receiving, by a computing device, a video feed from a camera capturing a parking area in a field of view. an image from the video feed includes a license plate of a vehicle. The computing device may look up the license plate to identify a target playback device in response to an owner of the vehicle having access to the target playback device. The computing device may transmit parking data associated with the vehicle to the target playback device. Some embodiments can include a computing device comprising a processor in electronic communication with a non-transitory memory storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the computing device to perform the process. Other examples and related systems, methods, and devices are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 12574850
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a portable mesh node to enhance a Wi-Fi connection throughput in an area with a weak coverage of an access point (AP). The portable mesh node provides an intermediate communication node that is moving to locations of the area which needs an improvement of the Wi-Fi connection throughput. A docking station is fixed in each location with a weak Wi-Fi connection throughput to provide a long-term energy source for the portable mesh node. Each docking station includes a power source to be coupled to the portable mesh node. The portable mesh node includes a transit power supply which provides a sufficient electrical energy during movements of the portable mesh node from a first location to a second location. Thus, the portable mesh node is capable of maintaining the Wi-Fi connection even during the movements between some locations.

  • Publication number: 20230222674
Abstract: A system, tracking an object within an environ, includes a hub with a processor instantiating a vision recognizer, a data store storing location data including a first location model, and a first camera which captures and provides, within a first field of view (FOV), a first image to the hub. The first image includes a first depiction of a first captured location, and the vision recognizer determines an object is present at the first location when the first depiction of the first captured location corresponds to the first location model. The first image depicts an element present within the first FOV, the data store further stores an image library record including a first object model, and the vision recognizer determines whether the object is present at the first location when the element depicted in the first image corresponds to the object as modeled by the first object model.
