  • Patent number: 7922549
Abstract: An oar or paddle for moving forward and backward any kind of vessel through the water comprising two parallel lattices fixed at a given distance from each other and a frame moving between lattices. The frame has a multitude of parallel grooves of circular cross-section which pivotally support a multitude of plates. The plates are located axially of the grooves by the portion of the plates disposed within the groove. The grooves have a peripheral extent which permits the plates to rotate. The frame is connected with vessel's mode of movement backward or forward controller. Lattices are connected with vessel's engine.

  • Patent number: 6561830
Abstract: A plug receptacle is disclosed which includes structure in a first mode to apply lateral pressure against a plug prong to retain such prong in the receptacle and in a second mode such structure is moved in a way to cease applying pressure against such prong to allow the prong and plug to be removed from the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 6449381
Abstract: A key imaging system and method for identifying and matching a key blank with an original key when duplicating an original key by placing the key on a supporting flat surface and forming images of the grooves and indentations on the shank of the original key by illuminating the lateral surface containing the grooves and indentations and imaging those grooves and indentations by reflecting light off of the surrounding reflective surface and scattering light off of the grooves and indentations. The resultant images are scanned and recorded by means of a digital video camera/scanner. The scanned image is relayed to a computer where it is saved in computer memory. The saved image is compared to previously stored known original key blank images for the purpose of indicating a precise duplicate key blank matching the original key.

  • Patent number: 6279664
Abstract: A portable fire extinguisher of the type utilizing a rotating Bourdon coiled tubing valve gauge having a reflective portion and a non-reflective portion with a beam transmitted at a portion of such coiled tubing such that when the gauge has rotated to indicate that the pressure in the fire extinguisher tank has dropped below a predetermined level, there is a corresponding change in the reflective state of the coiled tubing which changes the reflection of the beam, such change in reflection being sensed and processed. The resultant signal can be directed through telephone lines to a remote location where such fire extinguisher's condition is identified for servicing.
