Patent number: 4881399Abstract: A double-action screw press is proposed, wherein a mechanism for braking an outer slide when it approaches the extreme bottom position is disposed on the face surface of the slide. The mechanism comprises a plate provided with a device for movement along the longitudinal axis of a screw, four elastic elements arranged on the plate, a pair of which, by a traverse are kinematically associated with a second stop. The latter is installed in the traverse for turning and interacts by its face surface with the face surface of a first stop. In addition, the press is provided with a third stop rigidly coupled with a frame and interacting with the plate when the outer slide approaches the extreme bottom position.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 1988Date of Patent: November 21, 1989Assignees: Moskovskoe Vyschee tekhnicheskoe uchilische imeni N.E.Baumana, Experimentalny nauchno-issledovatelsky institut kuznechno-pressovogo mashinostroenia "ENIKMASH"Inventors: Jury A. Patent number: 4603573Abstract: A press comprises a frame made up of two crossheads rigidly interconnected y means of uprights with two rams mounted therebetween one above the other. One of the rams has a built-in nut with a non-self-stopping thread to be thereby engaged with a screw rigidly connected to a die holder mounted for rotation in the other ram and geared to a drive for its translatory motion. Forced interaction between the nut and the screw is effected through a drive provided to actuate the ram with the nut and controlled from the drive of the die holder. There is provided a clearance of sufficient size between the rams to permit a specified angle of rotation of the die holder.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 1985Date of Patent: August 5, 1986Assignees: Moskovskoe Vysshee Tekhnicheskoe Uchilische Imeni N.E. Patent number: 4208895Abstract: The ram of the press is accelerated to an acceleration-terminating point whereat it attains a speed providing for the required energy of impact upon the work. During the acceleration, the velocity of the ram is measured, as well as the deviation of the actual point of attaining the required speed relative to the preset acceleration-terminating point. Depending on the value of this deviation, either the extent of the acceleration path is varied, with the acceleration value maintained constant, or else the acceleration rate is varied, with the acceleration path length remaining permanent. To effect control by varying the acceleration path length, the control system is provided with specific electric circuitry controlling a transmitter generating a signal sent to a solenoid-operated valve, to vary the latter's position so as to vary accordingly the approach portion of the ram's stroke, and thus to vary the acceleration path.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 1978Date of Patent: June 24, 1980Inventors: Anatoly S. Patent number: 4202174Abstract: A hydraulic drive according to the invention comprises a gas hydraulic accumulator and a chamber whose volume is equal to at least the consumption of fluid by a User, e.g. a hydraulic cylinder of a press. This chamber is divided by a piston into two spaces. One of these communicates with the accumulator through a pipeline which is connected to a pump. The other space of the chamber communicates with the pump through a nonreturn valve, and with the User, through a closing device. This layout of the hydraulic drive steps up its reliability and ensures the possibility of controlling the pressure in the gas-hydraulic accumulator.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 1978Date of Patent: May 13, 1980Inventors: Anatoly S. Grigorenko, Jury A. Moroz, German N. Kuznetsov, Vladimir I. Vimba, Vladimir V. Landyshev, Jury A. Bocharov, Anatoly V. Safonov

Patent number: 4191044Abstract: A press featuring double-ended pressing action upon the blank, made use of in pressforging practice. The frame of the proposed press mounts the slides carrying the female die halves and those carrying the male dies, both of said groups of slides reciprocating towards each other. The slides carrying the male dies are actuated from the hydraulic power cylinders linked with their movable members to the slides through lead screws which in turn interact through their threading with the fly-wheels rotatably mounted on the frame. The essence of the invention resides in that the lead screws with their one end are movable associated with the male-die carrying slides and with the other end they are locked-in with the movable members of the hydraulic power cylinders actuating said screws, while the flywheels are interconnected through a mechanical gearing.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 1978Date of Patent: March 4, 1980Inventors: Anatoly S. Grigorenko, Jury A. Moroz, Leonid I. Kortusov, Jury A. Bocharov, Anatoly V. Safonov
