    Abstract: A method for reshaping a glass body having a Tg and Tx by placing a glass body preform in a mold comprising a cavity having a void volume in the range of 70 to 130 percent of the volume of the glass body preform. The glass body preform is then heated at a temperature between (Tg) and (Tx+50 degrees Celsius) while applying pressure to the glass body preform to form a reshaped glass body.
