Abstract: A solid composition comprisinga. a cleansing effective amount of an anionic surfactant or mixture thereof,b. an alcohol ethoxycarboxylic acid of the formulaR--(OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.n --O CH.sub.2 COOHwherein R is an alkyl of an average of about 8 to 20 carbon atoms inclusive and n is a number of 1 to about 20,c. a carbanilide antibacterial agent in antibacterial effective quantities wherein component b is in sufficient quantities to solubilize the carbanilide antibacterial agent.

Abstract: A cleansing composition which comprises a cleansing effective amount of a long chain alkyl or alkenyl containing surfactant or mixtures thereof and a color stabilizing effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 are the same or different and are isopropyl or tertiary butyl, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.9 and R.sub.10 are the same or different and are isopropyl or tertiary butyl and n is about 8 to about 20, or ##STR3## wherein R.sub.11, R.sub.12, R.sub.13, R.sub.14, R.sub.15 and R.sub.16 are the same or different and are isopropyl or tertiary butyl.

Abstract: A cleansing composition which comprises a cleansing effective amount of one or a mixture of a surfactant and a color stabilizing effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are the same or different and are isopropyl or tertiary butyl.

Abstract: A solid composition comprisinga. about 5 to 85 wt % of an acylisethionate salt,b. about 90 to 5 wt % of soap, andc. an effective amount of a metal chelating agent consisting solely of an agent selected from the group consisting of ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid, water soluble salts of said acid, and mixtures thereof, said composition having a pH of from about 7.2 to 10.
