Abstract: A method for discarding authentication of a user equipment in a wireless communication system, including: determining, by a network, authentication revocation of a first remote user equipment; determining whether or not a PDU session of a relay user equipment, which is used by the first remote user equipment, is used by another remote user equipment; and transmitting, to the relay user equipment, a release request for the PDU session of the relay user equipment or a release request for a PC5 link of the first remote user equipment.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for operating an application server in a wireless communication system, and the method may include receiving, by the application server, an application session establishment request including identification information of a first key from a terminal, wherein the terminal generates the first key and the identification information of the first key based on primary authentication with a network and an authentication server function (AUSF) generates the same first key and the identification information of the first key based on the primary authentication, determining, by the application server, a first application key based on the identification information of the first key, transmitting an application session establishment response message to the terminal based on the first application key, and receiving data from the terminal through an established application session.

Abstract: A method for authenticating a UE in a wireless communication system disclosed herein may comprise: a step in which a first UE receives authentication mode information, wherein a second UE relaying the first UE also receives the authentication mode information, and the first UE, on the basis of the authentication mode information, requests information necessary for direct search between UEs; a step in which the first UE receives the information necessary for direct searches between UEs; and a step for connecting to a network and performing authentication via the second UE on the basis of the received information necessary for direct searches between the UEs.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for authenticating a UE in a wireless communication system, including: receiving, by a relay UE, a direct communication request message from a remote UE; identifying, by the relay UE, authentication for the remote UE based on the direct communication request message; and transmitting, by the relay UE, a direct communication accept message to the remote UE, and the direct communication request message may include at least one of a first unique identifier or a primary authentication-related key ID of the remote UE, and the direct communication accept message may include an indicator indicating whether secondary authentication of a protocol data unit (PDU) session of the relay UE, which the remote UE uses, is pending.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for updating authentication of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, including: receiving, by a relay UE, a first authentication request message for authenticating a first remote UE from a network, wherein the first authentication request message includes an ID of the first remote UE and authentication request information; acquiring authentication response information by performing an authentication-related procedure with the first remote UE; and transmitting a first authentication response message including the authentication response information and the ID of the first remote UE to the network, and authentication for the first remote UE may be performed based on the authentication response information.
