Abstract: A method for arranging a device to operate in a mesh network is provided, the method includes: receiving data relating to the mesh network; evaluating at least one capability of the device to determine data indicative of at least one mesh network capability required by the device to operate in the mesh network; inquiring if the mesh network is capable of providing determined the at least one mesh network capability; and adjusting an application software executed by the device with data indicative of the at least one mesh network capability available from the mesh network for the device to connect the device to the mesh network. A device, a system, and a computer program are also provided.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method and a network device for network slicing, the method comprising: receiving, from a terminal device, a request for at least one of reserving and assigning a network slice for an application; determining whether the application is previously known in terms of application profile or application identity; the determination being performed by matching against a plurality of application profiles and/or application identities residing in an application profile/identity database; if the application is determined to be known, providing a cost for setting up or for assigning a network slice for the application indicated in the request; and if the application is determined to be unknown, assigning a profile to the application and at least one of configuring and assigning a default network slice to the application.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to methods and apparatuses for adopting network conditions for providing cloud based applications or services to a user. A method performed by a network node of a network operator includes: receiving, from a server of a service provider, a service profile for a service selected by a user of a UE that is connected to the network operator; configuring network conditions, in terms of at least bandwidth or throughput, and latency, based on the received service profile; requesting a selected access point, to adapt its network conditions in accordance with the configured network conditions; and if the selected access point successfully adapts its network conditions, sending a confirmation to the server of the service provider confirming that the requirements of the service in accordance with the service profile, are met.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method in a user device and a method in a chatbot capable framework for providing continuity in chat communications between the user device and the chatbot capable framework. Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to methods, an access point and a network node for service quality assessment in a network environment. According to a method, the access point receives, from a user equipment, a request for a service; and determines a service quality identifier based on the requested service. The access point sends, to a network node of a service provider, the service request including the service quality identifier. The network node analyzes the received service quality identifier for determining whether or not the requested service can be supported. If the requested service can be supported, the network node transmits a response to the user equipment informing that the service can be supported over the access point.
