  • Patent number: 9593312
Abstract: The present invention relates to a one-vector expression system comprising a sequence encoding two polypeptides, such as tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) and GTP-cyclohydrolase 1 (GCH1). The two polypeptides can be should preferentially be expressed at a ratio between 3:1 and 15:1, such as between 3:1 and 7:1. The invention is useful in the treatment of catecholamine deficient disorders, such as dopamine deficient disorders including but not limited to Parkinson's Disease. Moreover, the present invention provides a method to deliver the vector construct in order to limit the increased production of the catecholamine to the cells in need thereof.

  • Patent number: 7287423
Abstract: A method and device for evaluating the capacity of a compressor (1) by air being allowed to flow out from a pressure tank (3) through an opening of known geometry. Following a calculation, the quantity of evacuated air is obtained. After this, a compressor (1) pumps back up to the initial pressure in the pressure tank (3). The compressor capacity (1) is established by comparing the time it takes for the compressor (1) to pump back up to the initial pressure in the pressure tank (3) with the time it takes when an acceptable compressor (1) pumps the same quantity of air. By the compressor capacity (1) is here meant the quantity of air which the compressor (1) delivers per unit of time at a given compressor speed and counter-pressure.

  • Publication number: 20070209872
Abstract: An apparatus for new construction as well as internal inspection and repair of large vessels (1), such as recovery boilers and tanks, comprises a platform (10) which is vertically adjustably suspended by means of suspension cords (13) hanging down from a roof (6) of the vessel (1). The platform (10) is built from at least two parallel spaced-apart girders (11), to which the suspension cords (13) are attached, and at least one plank (12) is arranged perpendicular to the girders (11) and interconnecting the same, the plank resting on the girders (11) and at least partly covering the same. The girders (11) are individually vertically adjustable first lattice girders, which have flat upper sides forming a footboard, on which it is possible to walk and operate safely.

  • Patent number: 7053302
Abstract: The invention relates to a voltage source converter system, and includes a plane parallel bus bar assembly having conductor bars closely related for reducing induced voltage in the assembly. Each gap that is formed between adjacent conductor bars is completely filled by a polymer insulator which is formed for providing complete freedom of access to fully exposed external sides of the bus bar assembly. The invention also relates to a molded, single piece polymer insulator including an elongate rib member of continuous height and thickness, and elongate wing members angularly extended from each longitudinal periphery of the rib member.

  • Patent number: 6702975
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for manufacturing an electrical insulator that includes a body (1) and a coating (5, 5a) of insulating material arranged on the body (1) where the coating is applied onto the body in a screw-like form or a helical-like form, whereby the coating is applied by extrusion directly on the body (1). In this way, the build-up trapped pockets of air between the applied coating and the body (1) is prevented, and good adhesion is achieved. The invention also concerns an apparatus for manufacturing an insulator as well as the use of the said method or apparatus for the manufacturing of a high voltage insulator.
