Abstract: A system for providing a user with access to an information site hosting information with controlled access, such as an e-Learning content provider. The user logs on to a management site such a learning management system and is authenticated by the management site. The user requests the management site for access to information which is hosted at the information site, and is logged on to the information site with authenticated access to the information. There is direct communication between the user and the information site, and also direct communication between the management site and the information site for exchange of management information. The management information comprises user authentication data provided by the management site, and data relating to the user's activities on the information site which is reported by the information site to the management site.
