  • Patent number: 7349432
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for changing the bandwidth of a circuit switched channel in a time division multiplexed network, wherein said channel comprises a set of time slots within each recurring frame of a bitstream between a first node and a second node. According to the invention one or more additional time slots within each recurring frame of said bitstream are reserved, including using, during a period of time, only said set of time slots for transmitting payload data pertaining to said channel while providing, during said period of time, information indicating that said one or more additional time slots are currently not used for transferring payload data. After said period of time, said set of time slots is used as well as said one or more additional time slots on said bitstream for transmitting payload data pertaining to said channel.

  • Publication number: 20070038167
Abstract: A compression device for the foot comprising: a wrap adapted to surround the foot, the wrap comprising at least two bladders which when inflated conform to the shape of the foot to provide compression, the bladders being positioned on the wrap so that a first bladder focuses compression on the heel of the foot and a second bladder focuses compression on the arch of the foot; a channel attached to each bladder for independently delivering fluid to each bladder; and a controller attached to the channels that generates and independently controls the flow of fluid to the bladders.

  • Publication number: 20060178630
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for delivery of medicament comprising a main housing, a container including at least two compartments, wherein each compartment contains a component of the medicament to be injected, and arranged to be connected to a patient delivery means, a longitudinally movable piston and a spring arrangement acting on said piston and capable of exerting a force on said components, a first holding means arranged and capable of holding said piston in a force-loaded state, and at least one activator means capable of acting on said first holding means for releasing said piston, characterised in that it further comprises a second holding means capable of stopping the movement of said piston when it has moved a certain first distance after one activation of the at least one activator means and holding said piston in that position, wherein the force from the piston/spring arrangement and the movement causes the compartments to communicate with each other and the components to mix, in th

  • Patent number: 6336477
Abstract: In a weaving device, a weaving device frame mounts a plurality of eyelets. A frame module, releasably borne by the weaving device frame is readily detachable from and controls movement of the respective eyelets. The frame module forms a readily removable component of the weaving device.

  • Patent number: 6318415
Abstract: A weaving device is described, having a frame, an eyelet and a module releasably borne by the frame to selectively transmit a motive force to the eyelet. A coupling includes first and second members which are releasably coupled together in force receiving relation and relative to the module. The first member is connected to the eyelet, and the second member is connected to the module. The coupling transmits motive force from the module to the eyelet to move the eyelet selectively relative to the frame. The coupling facilitates removal and replacement of the module from the frame.
