  • Publication number: 20230225244
Abstract: A lawnmower cutter assembly (22) comprises a knife carrier arrangement (26) and a skid plate arrangement (30), which are axially held between an axial stop shoulder (60) of the cutter drive shaft (34) and an end piece (54) rigidly connected to the cutter drive shaft (34), the end piece (54) thereby vertically carrying the skid plate arrangement (30) and the knife carrier arrangement (26). The cutter assembly (22) may be attached to a lawnmower, which may be a robotic lawnmower, by positioning the knife carrier arrangement (26) and the skid plate arrangement (30) on the cutter drive shaft (34); and thereafter, axially locking the axial position of the knife carrier arrangement (26) and the skid plate arrangement (30) in relation to the cutter drive shaft (34).

  • Publication number: 20230042864
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control arrangement (1) for a self-propelled robotic lawnmower (3) having a cutting unit (5, 6) configured to rotate during operation of the lawnmower (3). The control arrangement (1) is configured to navigate the lawnmower (3) along a navigation path (7) comprising adjacent mowing strokes (S, Sp, Su). The control arrangement (1) is configured to set a rotation direction (rl, r2) of the cutting unit (5, 6) based on the navigation path (7), or is configured to select the navigation path (7) based on a rotation direction (rl, r2) of the cutting unit (5, 6). By adapting the rotation direction (rl, r2) or the navigation path (7), the direction (d1, d2) to which grass clippings are ejected, i.e. towards the previous mowing stroke (Sp) or to a future mowing stroke (Su) is controlled thereby reducing energy consumption or grass decomposition time.

  • Publication number: 20220217904
Abstract: An autonomous robotic lawnmower (1) is disclosed comprising a driving unit (3) comprising one or more drive wheels (5), and a cutting unit (7) configured to cut grass during operation of the lawnmower (1). The cutting unit (7) comprises one or more support wheels (9) configured to support the cutting unit (7) by abutting against a ground surface (11) during operation of the lawnmower (1). The cutting unit (7) is movably arranged relative to the driving unit (3). The lawnmower (1) comprises a suspension assembly (13, 13?) configured to progressively limit movement between the cutting unit (7) and the driving unit (3) during operation of the lawnmower (1).

  • Publication number: 20220022386
Abstract: A striper arrangement (200) for striping a lawn (1) configured to be arranged on a robotic work tool (100). The striper arrangement (200) comprises a striper mat (10) and a holding arrangement (300) for holding the striper mat (10) in contact with a N surface of a lawn (1) and is configured such that the striper mat (10) is movable in upwards and downwards direction; and further configured to bias the striper mat (10) in downwards direction by a biasing force (BF), such that movement of the striper mat (10) in upwards direction is restricted until a counter force (CF) exerted by the striper mat (10) onto the holding arrangement (300) exceeds the biasing force (BF). The counterforce (CF) is the force exerted by the striper mat (10) onto the holding arrangement (300) when the striper mat (10) transits from a convex bent shape to a concave bent shape or vice versa. A robotic work tool 100 comprising a striper arrangement (200) for striping a lawn (1).
