  • Publication number: 20230225254
Abstract: A tilt monitoring assembly (200) for a yard maintenance vehicle (10) may include processing circuitry (210) configured to receive speed information indicative of a current speed of the vehicle (500), receive orientation information indicative of a three dimensional orientation of the vehicle (510), receive weight information indicative of operator weight associated with a driver of the vehicle (530), determine a tilt status based on the speed information, the orientation information and the weight information (540), and provide an output associated with operation of the vehicle based on the tilt status (550).

  • Publication number: 20220174868
Abstract: A lawn care vehicle including a mobility assembly configured to provide mobility for the lawn care vehicle, and a working assembly configured to perform a working function on a first working path and a second working path on a parcel. The lawn care vehicle further including processing circuitry configured to execute a repositioning path to cause the lawn care vehicle to move from the first working path to the second working path and initiate an energy reduction action for the lawn care vehicle while the lawn care vehicle transits the repositioning path.

  • Patent number: 8985038
Abstract: A feeder movement compensation algorithm for use within a processor controlled sewing machine. The sewing machine configured with a reciprocating needle and thread, and including a stitch plate upon which fabric to be sewn is positioned beneath the needle and thread. The machine also includes a feeder mechanism driving a feed dog thru a movement. The feed dog movement pushes the fabric along the stitch plate and the reciprocating needle and thread form stitches in the fabric. During the stitch cycle, the feed dog movement completes at least one feeder stroke. The feeder stroke includes a portion of the feed dog extending above the stitch plate and moving along the direction of feed. The feeder stroke thus pushes the fabric along the stitch plate. The compensation algorithm calculates a theoretical feeder stroke length based upon a desired stitch.

  • Patent number: 8606390
Abstract: A sewing machine (1) has access to a memory (M) for stitch data and a processor (C) for reading said stitch data and for operating the sewing machine (1) to execute stitches according to stitch data, wherein the sewing machine (1) has a hoop (20) for framing a pattern of the sewing material (2), and for moving the framed pattern in a direction comprising a component of at least one of a first coordinate (x) and a second coordinate (y) and wherein further the processor (C) controls movements of the hoop (20) according to said direction in relation to the position of a needle (5) of the sewing machine and synchronously with the movement of the needle for executing stitches, wherein: —the stretched sewing material (2) is clamped to the hoop (20) for forming a framed pattern in the hoop, —the framed pattern of the sewing material (2) is scanned by means of a camera (10) mounted in the sewing machine (1) and directed towards the sewing material (2) for the purpose of taking pictures of part views of said framed pa
