The radially inner wall is configured to support at least vanes or rotor seals facing rotor blades of the turbomachine, or a carrier for these vanes or seals. The proposed design provides enhanced efficiency without increasing production costs. The turbomachine may include, for example, a gas turbine, a steam turbine or a compressor.
