  • Patent number: 10124684
Abstract: An arrangement, system and method are described which enhance efficiency, reduce the stray field of wireless power transfer, and make use of special coil geometries for transmitter and receiver. The coil geometry is an approximation of a multipole current. Such currents have a faster decaying electromagnetic field compared to traditional coils. This allows higher power densities to be transferred.

  • Publication number: 20120255691
Abstract: The use of measurement information from traditional process variables along with measurement signals from the refining zones in refiners for the refining and grinding of pulp is disclosed for estimating the quality of pulp output from the refiner lines. Control of the refining process is thus improved by means of a method used with a series of refiners utilizing estimated pulp quality information from each refiner in order to be able to rapidly control the refining disturbances in the process.

  • Publication number: 20120041731
Abstract: A method for controlling a refining zone and to measure process variables directly in the refining zones of refiners in the pulp and paper industry is provided, the difference between the distributed axial force and the distributed steam force for high consistency refiners, or alternatively the liquid and pulp phase related forces for low consistency refiners, along the radius of the segments within the refiner is used to prevent fiber cutting and plate clash of the segments. The method of the present invention is also applicable to continuous control of the refining process close to limits of the machinery involved.

  • Patent number: 7827897
Abstract: The present invention concerns a ballistic protection against objects such as projectiles from fire arms, alternatively scatter from for example hand grenades. The protection comprises an enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) adapted so that the object (10) can penetrate the enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) in at least one area (2); at least one intermediate layer (3) comprising granules (27) arranged within the enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9), which intermediate layer (3) and enclosure (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9) are arranged to decelerate said object (10).

  • Patent number: 6024309
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for controlling the beating of fibrous material to be treated in a refiner. The method includes measuring a property of the fibrous material treated in the refiner, measuring the temperature or pressure in the beating zone between the refiner disks, and altering the temperature in the beating zone based upon the measured property of the fibrous material treated in the refiner. The apparatus disclosed includes pressure and temperature gauges for measuring the pressure and temperature in the beating zone, gauges for measuring the property of the fibrous material treated in the refiner, a computer to compare the measured values of the temperature or pressure with desired values for these parameters, and a controller for altering the temperature in the beating zone based upon the measured value of the property of the fibrous material treated in the refiner.

  • Patent number: 4244411
Abstract: The invention relates to an insulating cover comprising four side-walls and a roof-structure, the side-walls and the roof-structure comprising an outer and an inner layer of a flexible material and an intermediate insulating layer of an elastic foamed plastics material or like material. At least a part of the side-walls are openable by means of slide chain fastener means extending around the part, and the cover is intended to be placed over and around goods carried by a substantially rectangular load-carrying device, such as a pallet, having arranged around at least two mutually opposite side-edges a substantially planar frame-structure, which projects upwardly from the load-carrying surface of said load-carrying device, wherein two mutually opposite side-walls and the roof-structure extending therebetween form a coherent unit which is detachably connected to the other two side-walls by means of sliding chain fasteners.
