  • Patent number: 10274415
Abstract: The present invention regards nano surfaces and particularly a gradient based nano surface. According to embodiments of the invention a surface bound gradient is created by distributed nanoparticles along a plane surface. This procedure greatly reduces the number of prepared surfaces needed, as well as the methodological error of analysis of adsorption and adhesion phenomena.

  • Patent number: 9661937
Abstract: A carrier frame for a child carrier is disclosed. The carrier frame includes a first frame element and a second frame element hingedly coupled to the first frame element about a hinge axis. The first frame element includes a main frame and an adjustable support. The adjustable support extends in a first direction substantially parallel to the hinge axis and is movable in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the hinge axis. The second frame element comprises a transition portion and a backrest portion. An angle is formed between the backrest portion and the transition portion. • Patent number: 9630306
Abstract: A pressure accumulator for connection to a hydraulic fluid-driven percussion device. The percussion device includes at least one impact piston arranged to carry out a reciprocating motion caused by the pressure from the hydraulic fluid. The pressure accumulator is arranged in communication with a hydraulic fluid space of the impact piston. The pressure accumulator includes a space that extends at least partly around the impact piston when the pressure accumulator is mounted on the percussion device. A partition divides the space into two separate pressure chambers so that the pressure chambers are located an axial direction of the impact piston in relation to each other when the pressure accumulator is mounted on the percussion device. A first of the two separate pressure chambers is intended to be filled with a compressible medium. A second pressure chamber is in fluid communication with the hydraulic fluid space of the impact piston.

  • Patent number: 9606047
Abstract: A waveguide structure for evanescent wave microscopy and/or spectroscopy, comprising an optically transparent core layer, a lower dielectric cladding layer and an upper dielectric cladding layer arranged on opposite sides of the core layer. The core layer has a refractive index higher than the refractive indices of the cladding layers. The upper cladding layer is made of an organic material. A sample well is arranged on an upper surface of the core layer formed by a cavity in the upper cladding layer, the sample well being adapted to contain a sample medium with one or more sample objects. The core layer is made of a first dielectric inorganic material, and the upper cladding layer has a refractive index which closely matches the refractive index of the sample medium. A method for manufacturing such waveguide structure, and a measurement system comprising the waveguide structure are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9421918
Abstract: A load carrier foot, and a load carrying roof rack for a vehicle having at least one such load carrier foot. The load carrier foot has a lock arrangement for locking a load carrying bar to the load carrier foot comprising a wedge member, a tensioning member. The wedge member is adapted to cooperate with the tensioning member so that upon operation of the tensioning member. A clamping member is further arranged in working cooperation with the tensioning member. The present invention provides for a load carrying foot having a lock arrangement which requires little space inside of the load carrying bar to lock the load carrying bar to the load carrying foot, it permits the load carrier foot to be attached to the load carrying bar in a plurality of positions and it enables the load carrying bar to be attached to the load carrying foot while at the same time attach to the vehicle using the same tensioning member.

  • Patent number: 9162629
Abstract: The present invention relates to an extendable vehicle rack arrangement (10) comprising a first and a second load carrier foot (3, 4) and comprising a stationary part (12) attached to said first and second load carrier foot (3, 4) and a displaceable part (11). The stationary part (12) is pivotally connected to at least one of the load carrier feet (3, 4). The extendable vehicle rack arrangement (10) is advantageously an extendable vehicle top rack arrangement. The present invention provides for a solution which effectively reduces or neutralizes the intrinsic forces which can be imparted to an extendable vehicle rack arrangement during or after attachment to a vehicle, thereby providing an easier extension of the displaceable part (11).
