  • Patent number: 11159472
Abstract: Methods, central unit (200A) and distributed unit (200B) of a radio network node (200), for handling a message received from a core node (204) for transmission to a wireless device (202). An action is required by the radio network node if the message is not successfully delivered to the wireless device. The central unit (200A) sends the message and an associated identifier I_msg to the distributed unit (200B) and then receives feedback indicating whether the message has been successfully delivered to the wireless device or not. The central unit (200A) performs the required action if the feedback does not confirm delivery of the message to the wireless device (202). The required action may include sending a non-delivery indication to the core node (204).

  • Patent number: 9113452
Abstract: Method, arrangement and computer program product in a base station for modulating information intended for transmission to a terminal. The base station and the terminal are comprised within a wireless communication network. The information comprises first and second data blocks, where two USF values are to be sent across the first data block and the second data block. The first data block and first parts of the two USF values are modulated with a first modulation technique and the second data block and second parts of the two USF values are modulated with a second modulation technique. Further, a method, an arrangement and a computer program product in a terminal for demodulating information received from a base station are described. In addition, a method, an arrangement and a computer program product in a control node are described.

  • Patent number: 7150389
Abstract: The invention concerns a friction stir welding method according to which the workpieces (2, 3) to be welded are positioned on a worktable (7) and by means of clamping means (5, 6) clamped to one another and/or to the work-table during the welding. A rotating welding means (12, 13) is arranged to move along a joint between the work pieces while being pressed against said workpieces during the welding. Additional heat is supplied to the joint prior to and/or during the welding operation, in excess of the frictional heat generated in the joint from the rotation of the welding means and of any other heat hat may be supplied to the joint in any other manner by the welding means.
