  • Patent number: 10599313
Abstract: A system and user interface capable of effectively manipulating high volumes of data is provided. The system and/or user interface is specially-configured to aggregate large data volumes and translate the large data volumes into summary information associated with navigable categorizations (e.g., categorizations linked to selectable visualizations in the user interface) that enable dynamic selection and visualization of portions of the large data volumes. In one particular example, the system and/or user interface is adapted to generate selectable panels having a plurality of build or editing tools displayed coextensive with portions of the large volumes of data. Such panels may be particularly useful for generating a placement (e.g., an advertisement) while reviewing or managing large amounts of information, such as ad placement and performance information for hundreds or thousands or advertisements.

The system and/or user interface is specially-configured to aggregate large data volumes and translate the large data volumes into summary information associated with navigable categorizations (e.g., categorizations linked to selectable visualizations in the user interface) and groupings of management functions that enable dynamic selection and visualization of portions of the large data volumes. In one particular example, the system and/or user interface is adapted to generate selectable panels having a plurality of management tools displayed coextensive with portions of the large volumes of data. Such panels may be particularly useful for managing a placement (e.g., an advertisement) while reviewing or managing large amounts of information, such as ad placement and performance information for hundreds or thousands or advertisements including placements on third party systems.

  • Publication number: 20170011418
Abstract: A system is provided for ingesting existing advertising networks and/or advertising campaigns. According to some embodiments, advertising networks and/or campaigns comprise thousands of digital based advertisements or placements, that are constantly being called by content provider systems, constantly being delivered to hundreds of thousands of end user computer systems, accompanied by constantly updating reporting data and analytic data to manage the placements. Various embodiments, are specially configured to enable users to capture existing placement information (e.g., user interface design elements, execution rules, attribution information, etc.) and translate the existing digital objects from a variety of platforms, formats, etc. into a commonly managed interface and enhanced data structure. Translation into the enhanced data structure enables automatic management conventional systems cannot deliver.

  • Patent number: 5974320
Abstract: A neighborhood zone covering an enclosed or surrounded environment, such as a man-made building or high-rise, is defined within a mobile telecommunications network by associating a plurality of base stations with respective cell areas. A same neighborhood list indicating all measurement channels being utilized within the neighborhood zone by said plurality of base stations is then further defined. The defined same neighborhood list is then transmitted by each of the base stations within its respective coverage area. A mobile station traveling within the neighborhood zone then scans and reports measurements from the indicated measurement channels to the serving mobile telecommunications network. The mobile telecommunications network then effectuates a handover in accordance with the received signal measurements. An idle mobile station further utilizes the measurements to effectuate a cell re-selection.

  • Patent number: 5701294
Abstract: A system and method for dynamically adapting the user bit rate of a time division multiple access (TDMA) cellular telecommunication system to achieve optimum voice quality over a broad range of radio channel conditions are disclosed. The system continuously monitors radio channel quality on both the uplink and the downlink, and dynamically adapts the system's combination of speech coding, channel coding, modulation, and number of assignable time slots per call to optimize voice quality for the measured conditions. Various combinations of the system's speech coding, channel coding, modulation, and assignable time slots are identified as combination types and corresponding cost functions are defined. By identifying and selecting the cost function with the lowest cost for the measured radio channel conditions, the system provides the maximum voice quality achievable within the limits of the system design.

  • Patent number: 5229996
Abstract: Synchronization is maintained between a regional radio transmitter/receiver and a remote transmitter/receiver communicating across a TDMA channel by detecting time misalignment of communications from the remote transmitter/receiver to the regional transmitter/receiver, commanding the remote transmitter/receiver to adjust its transmission timing, and, until the remote transmitter/receiver has adjusted its transmission timing, looking for a synchronization pattern accompanying transmissions by the remoter transmitter/receiver during two discontinuous time intervals, one centered about a time of occurrence of the synchronization pattern before the command and another centered about an expected time of occurrence of the synchronization pattern in response to the command. Effectively, what would otherwise be a disadvantageously wide time window is split into two advantageously narrow time windows to avoid detection of false syncs. Fewer false syncs are detected, and speech quality is increased.
