    Abstract: A device and a method for combined selection of a sample, grinding of the selected sample and presentation of the sample for an analysis system. The device-includes a grinding chamber, a grinding device for grinding said sample in the grinding chamber, and a pressing device for compression of the sample in and output of the sample from the grinding chamber. The device further includes a first chamber opening for input of the sample into the grinding chamber, and a second chamber opening for the output of the sample from the grinding chamber, wherein the first chamber opening is separate from the second chamber opening.
