Publication number: 20220228565Abstract: A method for erecting a wind turbine tower is disclosed. A tower section (8) comprising a lower flange (9) and an upper flange (10), and a plurality of stud bolts (6) and nuts (7) are provided. The tower section (8) is oriented in an upright position with the lower flange (9) below the upper flange (10), and stud bolts (6) are positioned in bolt holes (12) in the lower flange (9) with nuts (7) arranged on an upper side of the lower flange (9). The tower section (8) is lifted to a mounting position on top of another tower section (13), and a flange combination is formed by aligning the bolt holes (12) formed in the lower flange (9) of the tower section (8) with bolt holes (15) formed in an upper flange (14) of the other tower section (13), while advancing the stud bolts (6) through the bolt holes (12, 15). The invention further provides a socket tool (16) for screwing nuts (7) onto stud bolts (6) in a manner which positions the stud bolts (6) correctly with respect to a flange (9).Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2020Publication date: July 21, 2022Applicant: Vestas Wind Systems A/SInventors: Jakob Anders Sørensen, Christine Broe, Rasmus Sanderhoff Johansen

Patent number: 9770877Abstract: A flattening apparatus with a roller system including an impact resistant system and a first conveyor belt facing and arranged opposite to the impact resistant system and having a flattening area between the first conveyor belt and the impact resistant system. The roller system is rotatable mounted adjacent to the first conveyor belt distally away from the impact resistant system across the first conveyor belt. Foodstuff is flattened and compressed by rotating the roller system while conveying the foodstuff through the flattening area such that an outwardly protruding surface structure presses the first conveyor belt towards the impact resistant system. The surface structure is askew in relation to the longitudinal axis of the roller system and is designed with a portion provided in contact with the first conveyor belt at all times during rotation of the roller system.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2013Date of Patent: September 26, 2017Assignee: MAREL A/SInventors: Anders Sørensen, Tomas Finne Nielsen

Publication number: 20070191294Abstract: The present invention is directed to novel double-stranded short interfering (siRNA) analogues comprising locked nucleic acid (LNA) monomers. Such compounds induces sequence-specific post-transcriptional gene silencing in many organisms by a process known as RNA interference (RNAi). The compounds disclosed herein has improved properties compared to non-modified siRNAs and may, accordingly, be useful as therapeutic agents, e.g., in the treatment of various cancer forms. More particularly, the present invention is directed to siRNA analogues comprising a sense strand and an antisense strand, wherein each strand comprises 12-35 nucleotides and wherein the siRNA analogues comprise at least one locked nucleic acid (LNA) monomer.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2004Publication date: August 16, 2007Inventors: Joacim Elmen, Claes Wahlestedt, Zicai Liang, Anders Sorensen, Henrik Orum, Troels Koch
