  • Patent number: 10543769
Abstract: A system and method for issuing a tire pressure deviation in a vehicle's tire is described. The system may include a calculation unit adapted to calculate temporally successive output signals indicative of a tire pressure condition in the vehicle's tire on the basis of temporally successive vehicle's signals. The system may also include a calibration unit adapted to determine a calibration value on the basis of a number of temporally successive output signals from the calculation unit. The system may also include a detection unit configured to detect a tire pressure deviation in the vehicle's tire on the basis of further temporally successive output signals from the calculation unit and the calibration value from the calibration unit, after determination of the calibration value by the calibration unit.

  • Patent number: 9079462
Abstract: The invention provides a system, a method and a computer program of estimating tire pressure deviations in a number of tires of a vehicle wherein a plurality of possible constellations of one or more pressure deviating tires exists. The system comprises a plurality of pressure deviation detectors (11), wherein each of the detectors (11) is adapted to detect at least one of the pressure deviating tire constellations. The system further comprises an output unit (12) which is adapted to provide for a warning if one of the pressure deviation detectors (11) detects at least one of the pressure deviating tire constellations.

  • Patent number: 8554498
Abstract: The invention is directed to a system, a method and a computer program including program code for carrying out the method, when executed on a processing system, of estimating a tire pressure deviation of a vehicle's tire (2). The system includes an input section (100) adapted to receive as an input signal a vehicle signal, a calculation section (200) adapted to calculate at least one shape factor of a resonance peak associated with the vehicle signal spectrum (2) on the basis of the input signal, and a determination section (300) adapted to derive, depending on said at least one shape factor, a tire pressure signal indicative of a tire pressure deviation within the vehicle's tire (2).

  • Publication number: 20100193116
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a composite material having reduced mechanosorptive creep includes the following steps: a) mixing fibers of a lignocellulosic material with a thermoplastic material where the thermoplastic material is in fiber form; b) adding the mixture made in step a) onto a wet web, thus forming a composite material; and c) hot pressing of the composite material. The composite material having reduced mechanosorptive creep being the manufacturing result of the method, and the use of the method and the composite material are described.

  • Publication number: 20100191495
Abstract: The invention is directed to a system, a method and a computer program including program code for carrying out the method, when executed on a processing system, of issuing a tire pressure deviation in a vehicle's tire. The system comprises a calculation unit (20) adapted to calculate temporally successive output signals (WRAx) indicative of a tire pressure condition in the vehicle's tire on the basis of temporally successive vehicle's signals. It further comprises a calibration unit (25) adapted to determine a calibration value (WRAcal/X) on the basis of a number of temporally successive output signals (WRAx) from the calculation unit (20). It further comprises a detection unit (30) configured to detect a tire pressure deviation in the vehicle's tire on the basis of further temporally successive output signals (WRAx) from the calculation unit (20) and the calibration value (WRAcal/X) from the calibration unit (25), after determination of the calibration value (WRAcal,x) by the calibration unit (25).

  • Publication number: 20100182142
Abstract: The invention is directed to a system, a method and a computer program including program code for carrying out the method, when executed on a processing system, of the tire low pressure warning of a vehicle. The system comprises an input unit (3) adapted to receive a vehicle signal. It further comprises a determination unit (2,4,5) adapted to determine a tire pressure signal (P) indicative of a tire pressure deviation in the vehicles tire on the basis of the vehicle signal. Finally, it comprises a warning unit (10) adapted to issue a warning signal only after the tire pressure signal (P) has indicated a predetermined pressure deviation (?P0) for a minimum period of time (?Tmin).
