    Abstract: Described is a wind turbine, a generator and a rotor housing for a generator with an external rotor, the rotor housing comprising a support structure, wherein the support structure is cylindrical shaped, a cone and a ring. The ring and the cone are attached together at an inner side of the cone in a horizontal plane, forming a front part of the rotor housing. The support structure is attached to the cone at a front end of the support structure, forming a side part of the rotor housing, and the support structure is formed out of segmented support structure parts. Also disclosed is the method for making the rotor housing.
