  • Patent number: 8381680
Abstract: A method and arrangement for monitoring the supply of cleaning liquid from a cleaning line to a milking system, where the milking system includes at least two milking stations and milk conduits, and the cleaning line includes supply conduits connectable to the milk conduits at the milking stations and arranged to apportion cleaning liquid to the milking stations, so that cleaning liquid flows through the milking stations. The method includes measuring a value of the flow of the cleaning liquid through the respective milking stations by a respective flow sensor and transferring the values of the measured flows to a control unit. The arrangement includes a first control unit and flow sensors and a respective flow sensor is adapted to measure a value of the flows of cleaning liquid through a respective milking station, and provide the values to the control unit.

  • Patent number: 8348074
Abstract: A connector by which data signals are conducted between data communication networks separately installed in coupled rail vehicles, includes a contact holder arranged to be seated in a train coupler connection block; a metal contact housing arranged for insertion in a forward end of the contact holder, and a metal contact member seated in the contact housing, the contact member extending through the contact housing to a conductor termination seated in a rear end of the contact holder. A connection block in a train coupler, wherein a multiplicity of connectors are arranged in the front of the connection block and adapted for mating with connectors of a corresponding connection block for electrically connecting rail vehicles that are interconnected by the train coupler, and wherein at least some of the connectors are effective for conducting signals at 100 MHz frequency range via electromagnetically shielded contacts, is also described.

  • Publication number: 20110041770
Abstract: A method and system for cleaning of milking systems—creates slugs of cleaning liquid in milking systems in response to the detection of the presence of cleaning liquid. The milking system includes a milk conduit (3), a liquid sensor (4) for detecting the presence of liquid in the milk conduit (3), a vacuum source (7) for applying a suction pressure to the milk conduit and cleaning equipment (12, 13) including elements supplying cleaning liquid into the milk conduit and an air injector (16) arranged to supply air into the milk conduit, the system being adapted to supply cleaning liquid into the milk conduit, apply a suction pressure to the cleaning liquid and supply air so that a liquid slug is created that flushes the milk conduit. The liquid sensor (4) is adapted to sense the presence of cleaning liquid supplied to the milk conduit, and the system is adapted to supply the air based on the detection of the presence of cleaning liquid.

  • Patent number: 7469939
Abstract: A muff coupling intended for vehicle couplers includes two components formed with ring-shaped flanges, as well as a muff consisting of at least two arch parts tightenable against each other, each having an inner flute formed between two inwardly turned bulges, which flute is delimited by obliquely inclined side surfaces to, upon radial tightening of the arch parts against each other, be pressed against analogously obliquely inclined shoulder surfaces on the flanges and thereby, by wedge action, transfer axial component forces to the same, pressing the ends of the components in close contact against each other. The arch parts are formed with double sets of bulges for cooperation with double flanges on the respective component, whereby forces that are transferred between the components via the muff are distributed to a plurality of axially spaced-apart pairs of contact surfaces in an axial train of forces near the outside of the components.
