Abstract: The invention concerns the use of a vascular damaging agent or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in the manufacture of a medicament for administration as an intravenous infusion to a warm-blooded animal such as a human over a time period of more than 1 hour for use in the production of a vascular damaging effect in said warm-blooded animal. The invention also concerns kits adapted for intravenous infusion of a vascular damaging agent over a time period of more than 1 hour and to methods for providing a vascular damaging effect in a warm-blooded comprising administering a vascular damaging agent to the warm-blooded animal over a time period of more than 1 hour.
