  • Publication number: 20210172652
Abstract: A fuel (e.g., fluid fuel such as propane or natural gas) fired portable forced air heater has a non-linear air flow and an enclosed combustion chamber. Air intake is longitudinal, and heated air output is axial (i.e., perpendicular to the longitudinal axis). Aspects of the invention eliminate an exposed open flame in forced air fluid fuel fired space heaters. Feet and handles of the heater housing are shaped so as to provide appropriate safety clearances for the heater, and the air flow path of the heater keeps a housing of the heater near room temperature.

  • Publication number: 20150090043
Abstract: Embodiments provide a MEMS including a MEMS device and an detector circuit. The MEMS device includes a membrane, wherein a material of the membrane comprises a band gap and a crystal structure with structural elements (unit cells) connected by covalent bonds in two dimensions only. The detector circuit is configured to determine a deformation of the membrane based on a piezoresistive resistance of the material of the membrane.
