  • Patent number: 9982797
Abstract: A solenoid valve has a valve body with first and second passages; a coil wound around a coil bobbin; a stator with a third passage; a plunger having a through hole therein; a flux return device; and a spring. When the coil is energized, the plunger is attracted toward the stator such that the plunger closes the third passage, and connects the first passage with the second passage through the through hole in the coil bobbin. When the coil is not energized, the plunger moves away from the stator such that the plunger closes the first passage, and connects the second passage with the third passage. A resilient gasket between the stator and the flux return device reduces vibration from direct contact between the plunger and the stator, being transmitted to the flux return device, thereby reducing vibration and noise.

  • Patent number: 9482358
Abstract: A solenoid valve has a valve body with first and second ports. A bobbin is mounted to the valve body. A winding is wound on the bobbin. A stator is fitted to one end of a hole through the bobbin and defines a third port therein. A plunger is slidably fitted to the hole and movable between a normal position and an energized position. Two plugs are installed at respective ends of the plunger and arranged to selectively close the first and third ports. A flux return device is fixed to the stator and the bobbin. A spring returns the plunger from the energized position, where the plunger closes the third port and the first and second ports communicate with each other via the hole in the bobbin, to the normal position, where the plunger closes the first port and the second and third ports communicate with each.

  • Patent number: 6373727
Abstract: A flyback converter has a primary side including a main switch and a control device and a delay circuit. The converter has a secondary side including a drive circuit controlling a rectifying switch. The drive circuit has a first part including a first transistor, a first discharge diode and an on-node and a second part including a second transistor, a second discharge diode and an off-node. The control device is connected to the drive circuit via at least one drive capacitor to the on- and off-nodes. The control device issues drive pulses to the main switch through the delay circuit and to the drive circuit. The drive circuit has a first mode of operation in a flyback phase, which is triggered when the main switch is turned off and the rectifying switch is rendered conducting. A second mode of operation is a forward phase, which is triggered when the main switch is turned on and the rectifying switch is rendered non-conducting.
