  • Publication number: 20140336553
Abstract: A knee orthosis includes two parts, upper and lower, each provided with at least one attachment means linking supporting parts, suitable for attaching said upper and lower parts respectively to a thigh and to a leg. Both parts are linked via bi-centric articulation means suitable for enabling each of said parts to pivot about a common axis between the ends of the supporting parts and an intermediate part forming a connection rod. A cord linking links the common axis between the connection rod connecting an articulation means to the upper portion of the orthosis, with the distal end of an arm forming one of the supporting parts of the lower portion of the orthosis.

  • Publication number: 20130166036
Abstract: An implantable orthopedic device for the knee, comprising at least two parts which are not connected to each other, which are capable of being positioned opposite each other, and each of which comprise a surface engaging with that of the other part in the operative position, one part is attachable onto the tibia side, and the other part is attachable on the femur side such that, according to the invention, both of said parts are to be attached onto the sides and outer side of the knee joint, one part being mobile relative to the other along a plane that is parallel to the vertical median plane of the knee joint, and onto one of the inner or outer sides of the knee.

  • Patent number: 4890857
Abstract: The device for the suspension and steering of a vehicle wheel of the type having two arms pivoted, on the one hand, at the stub axle bracket that they support, and on the other hand, at the vehicle body around axes substantially orthogonal to the axial longitudinal plane of symmetry of the vehicle, the stub axle bracket has the general shape of a tetrahedron A'B'C'D', one of the apex D' being a point of the stub axle axis D'D", two apex A'B' defining the steering axis being the centers of pivoting joints with each of the arms AA' and BB' and the fourth apex C' being the center of a pivoting joint with the steering control kinematic train, and applying to improvements to front wheel of land vehicles.

  • Patent number: 4834408
Abstract: The present invention concerns an anti-dive suspension device for the front wheel of a vehicle presenting between the axle bracket and the vehicle body a kinematic suspension mechanism, wherein the relative movement of the stub axle bracket with respect to the vehicle body on horizontal ground, during functioning of the suspension, the geometry of the kinematic train ensures the horizontal moving apart of the stub axle with respect to the vehicle body when the load is increased and it relates to improvements to the wheel suspensions of land vehicles and especially of steerable wheels.

  • Patent number: 4650027
Abstract: Coupling device between the suspension gear of a front wheel and the suspension gear of a rear wheel of a wheeled vehicle such as a motorcycle, in which the suspension deflections are transformed into substantially axial deplacements, comprising on each front and rear side of the vehicle a push-rod or equivalent hinged to the abutment of the suspension spring whereas its other end is hinged to an arm of a resilient rotary coupling member such as a torsion bar, this device being applied to the transfer of front and rear overloads of a vehicle.
