Publication number: 20240107948Abstract: A sugarcane harvester includes an improved discharge assembly that receives sugarcane billets and discharges the billets into a storage vehicle that travels alongside the harvester. The discharge assembly includes an elevator and a conveyor. The elevator lifts the billets vertically about an elevator axis that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the harvester. The conveyor receives the billets from the elevator and moves the billets horizontally along a conveyor axis that is substantially perpendicular to both the elevator axis and the longitudinal axis of the harvester. The discharge assembly also comprises height adjustment mechanism for vertically raising or lowering the conveyor and lateral adjustment mechanism for laterally adjusting positions of the conveyor. The height adjustment mechanism and the lateral adjustment mechanism can be manually or automatically operated to shift the conveyor between a number of use positions and a transport/storage position.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 12, 2021Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Marcelo Carpenedo, Fabio Luiz Spessoto Persoli, Andre Dias

Patent number: 10726155Abstract: A method of processing a query on a genome to produce a report is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a first secret, a second secret and a query request over a communications network during a first communications session and storing a proxy value associated with the query request in a database. The first secret is used to determine a genome key enabling access to genome data stored in the database and associated with the first secret. The proxy value and a query key are associated using the second secret such that the query key can only be found using both the proxy value and the second secret. An association is stored between the genome key and the query key in the database and the first and second secrets are deleted subsequent to determining the genome key and associating the proxy value and query key, during or at the end of the first communications session, to ensure anonymity.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2016Date of Patent: July 28, 2020Assignee: CBRA GENOMICS, S.A.Inventors: André Dias Alves De Carvalho, Helder Lameiras Sousa, Nuno Manuel De Castro Arantes-Oliveira, Bruno Flávio Nogueira De Sousa Soares, Ana Sofia Pedrosa Pinto, Pedro Jorge Pereira Lopes

Patent number: 8788359Abstract: A method is described for displaying vending machine product data using a display of a mobile communication device. This has the advantage of using the superior display of the mobile communication device and increasing the functionality available to the end user, without needing to invest in expense display equipment at the vending machine itself). The mobile communication device can also be used to order one or more products from the vending machine.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2011Date of Patent: July 22, 2014Assignee: Cumulocity GmbHInventors: Oliver Joerg Stache, Antonio Solano Tarroc, Andreas Nils Walter Cronstrom, Susana Margarida Cardim Cabaco, Tiago Andre Dias Do Naschiento Pergira Camilo, Damian Czernous

Publication number: 20120310408Abstract: A method is described in which a user places an order for a vending machine product, typically when the user is not located at the vending machine. The order is associated with a mobile communication device of the user, for example by providing the telephone number of the device, or by simply placing the order using the mobile communication device. The user presents the mobile communication device at the vending machine to identify the order at the vending machine. The vending machine then dispenses the product.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2011Publication date: December 6, 2012Applicant: NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS OYInventors: Oliver Joerg STACHE, Antonio Solano Tarroc, Andreas Nils Walter Cronstrom, Susana Margarida Cardim Cabaco, Tiago Andre Dias Do Naschiento Pergira Camilo, Damian Czernous

Publication number: 20120310656Abstract: A vending machine controller is described that is able to communicate with a number of vending machines in a vending machine system and a number of potential users of those vending machines (typically by sending messages to communication devices of those users). The controller is able to set prices of items in vending machines, wherein a particular price for a product can be dependent not only of the identity of the products itself, but also on the identity of the vending machine selling the product and even the identity of the user purchasing the product.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2011Publication date: December 6, 2012Applicant: NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS OYInventors: Oliver Joerg STACHE, Antonio Solano Tarroc, Andreas Nils Walter Cronstrom, Susana Margarida Cardim Cabaco, Tiago Andre Dias Do Naschiento Pergira Camilo, Damian Czernous
