  • Publication number: 20210264711
Abstract: A cash handling machine comprising: a cash handling mechanism for receiving physical articles including cash, sensing equipment for sensing the articles, processing equipment processors, and memory storing code arranged to run on the processing equipment. The code comprises multiple neural networks arranged in a series ordered from first to last, each trained to classify which of a respective set of classes the articles belong to based on the sensed data. The set of classes of each respective neural network comprises a different respective subset of one or more respective recognized classes classifying a respective one or more types of cash recognised by the respective neural network, and further comprising an unrecognized class into which all other articles other than the respective recognized types are classified. For each article, the code starts with the first neural network in the series, using each network in turn to try to recognize the article.

  • Publication number: 20170224526
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control and command method for a device for thermal stimulation of animal or human tissue (1), said method being characterised in that it includes: determining a neutral temperature applied to the tissue (1), thermally adjusting the neutral temperature by activating a control loop, determining a cold or hot thermal stimulation temperature to be applied to the tissue (1), in alternation with the neutral temperature; determining a duration and a frequency of the thermal stimulations; in the case of an instruction to initiate the stimulation temperature by activating a control loop and by deactivating the control loop on the neutral temperature; and synchronising a physiological recording with the thermal stimulation.

  • Patent number: 9300562
Abstract: At least one inline probe is employed to test compliance of a network element with a network traffic policy. The testing capability of the probe is handled by specialized software or hardware. The inline probes hardware can be implemented in network elements such as routers or transceivers. The inline probes can be discovered, registered, and controlled by a dedicated controller disposed at a remote location.
