  • Publication number: 20250157075
Abstract: Determining the position of a trailer end of a trailer (5) extending from a towing unit (4) of a vehicle and being pivotable thereto, by processing camera images (6) captured successively in time by an image sensor of an image capturing device (2) of a camera-based system; and determining a plurality of feature points (8) in the images (6) based on a parameter. The feature point (8) corresponds to a pixel in the image (6). Selecting relevant feature points from the plurality (8) along a preferred direction defined by density and position of the points (8) as path elements (10) based on a positional displacement (dx, dy) between the points (8) in an image (6) and corresponding points (8) in another image (6); generating a path (11) describing the trailer (5) along the preferred direction; and determining a position on the path (11) at the trailer end.

  • Patent number: 9975636
Abstract: A cargo restraining assembly is configured to be mounted to a cargo deck surface of an aircraft, the cargo restraining assembly comprising two guidance and restraint bars running in parallel to each other, and at least one lateral bracket spanning between the two guidance and restraint bars and being fixedly connected to each of two guidance and restraint bars. The lateral bracket includes a bracket foot formed integrally with the lateral bracket and a quick release mechanism configured to quick-releasably couple the bracket foot to a seat track profile of the cargo deck surface of the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20160367916
Abstract: A method of manufacturing porous fluid treatment elements includes forming a planar structure including a layer of thermally bonded particulate material. The fluid treatment elements are cut from the planar structure. Cutting a fluid treatment element from the planar structure includes moving a cutting tool part in an axial direction relative to the planar structure. The cutting tool part includes a cutting edge defining an edge of an orifice delimited by an inner tool surface extending from the cutting edge. At least a section of the inner tool surface is angled with respect to the axis of movement, such that a size of the orifice decreases in axial direction away from the cutting edge.

  • Patent number: 9376210
Abstract: The invention relates to a cargo handling system for loading and securing one or more freight containers in a cargo hold of an aircraft. The system includes bracket members configured to be secured to a base or floor of the cargo hold, and elongate guide members, each of which is mounted on and interconnects a number of the bracket members arranged in a row, wherein each guide member forms a restraint or a stop against lateral movement of a freight container loaded in the cargo hold. The bracket members include at least one fastening portion configured for tool-less fast-release engagement and locking with a seat track profile in the base or floor of the cargo hold. Furthermore, the bracket members typically extend transversely inwards or inboard of the elongate guide members.
