  • Publication number: 20260166827
Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire comprises a tread with shoulder flanks, sidewalls and bead regions. The tire is vulcanized in a vulcanizing mold with a plurality of segments of a segment ring that are arranged movably in the radial direction for forming the tread and the shoulder flanks, with sidewall shells for forming the outer sides of the sidewalls and with mold partitions between the segments and the sidewall shells, wherein the shoulder flanks together with those regions that correspond to the positions of the mold partitions continuously adjoin the outer sides of the sidewalls such that the shoulder flanks are in line with the outer sides of the sidewalls. Radially within the regions that correspond to the positions of the mold partitions, in each case there directly adjoins a portion of the sidewall which, when the tire is viewed from the side, forms a circumferential flat surface running around in the form of a circular ring, with a radial extent of 10.00 mm to 25.

  • Patent number: 12539720
Abstract: The invention relates to a commercial vehicle tire which is cold-retreadable and comprises sidewalls (5), belt plies (2a) and a profiled tread (1) with shoulder flanks (8a) located outside the ground contact area and running to the sidewalls (5), wherein a buffing indicator (9, 9?, 9?) for indicating the buffing depth is provided on at least one shoulder flank (8a), running around in the circumferential direction, possibly interrupted in some portions and formed by a multiplicity of elevations (10), wherein the elevations (10) have with respect to the level of the shoulder flank (8a) a maximum thickness, determined perpendicularly to this level, of 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm. The elevations (10) of the buffing indicator (9, 9?, 9?) are dome-shaped and have a circular base area with a diameter of 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm.

  • Patent number: 12109843
Abstract: A rubber rib extending in the extension direction of a groove is respectively formed in profile element flanks which delimit the groove and each form a different groove wall. The rubber rib formed in one groove wall is formed in a different radial position than the rubber rib formed in the other groove wall. The two rubber ribs each extend over the entire extension length of the profile element flank and each of these two rubber ribs respectively extends along its entire extension length from that profile element flank in which it is formed into the groove in the direction of the other profile element flank up to at least the middle of the groove width in this radial position of the groove and ends there in the groove at a distance from the profile element flanks.

  • Publication number: 20230166564
Abstract: Tread profile of a vehicle tire with profile elements (1,12,13,14,15,6) separated from one another by grooves (7,8,9,10,23), wherein the profile elements (13,14,1,12) separated by a groove (9,7) are outwardly delimited in the radial direction R by a radially outer surface (16) forming the ground contact area and toward the groove (9,7) respectively by a profile element flank forming a groove wall (17,18), wherein a rubber rib (20,19) extending in the extension direction of the groove (9,7) is respectively formed in the profile element flanks which delimit the groove (9,7) and each form a different groove wall (17,18) of the groove (9,7), wherein the rubber rib (19) formed in one groove wall (17) is formed in a different radial position of the vehicle tire than the rubber rib (20) formed in the other groove wall (18), wherein the two rubber ribs each (19,20) extend over the entire extension length of the profile element flank and wherein each of these two rubber ribs (19,20) respectively extends along its enti

  • Patent number: 8095302
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for proposing an update for a navigation chart displayed in an aircraft data processing system. A selection of a navigation object is received in the navigation chart through the aircraft data processing system. In response to receiving the selection, a set of attributes is presented for the navigation object, wherein each attribute can be selected containing a discrepancy. In response to receiving user input to change an attribute in the set of attributes, the attribute is changed using the user input. A discrepancy report is directly sent to the data provider via a datalink.
