  • Patent number: 9799957
Abstract: A method to produce a rod tag and tag produced according to the method, wherein the method comprises at least the steps of: providing a magnetic core having a cylindrical shape and two end, winding a wire around said core to form an antenna, positioning in longitudinal extension a chip at one of the ends of said rod where the wound wire ends terminates, bonding said wire ends to contacts of said chip, displacing said bonded chip at least partially on said end of said rod, and introducing said core with said wire and said chip in an encapsulating means containing a stabilizing material, whereby the chip is further positioned on said end by the friction between said chip and said material during introduction.

  • Patent number: 8328107
Abstract: In the high temperature tag of the disclosure, a transponder is placed between at least two thin layers of compressible high temperature material, preferably a high temperature textile. This resulting sandwich is then placed in the closed chamber formed by a two-part-housing of high temperature plastic. Finally, a cover, also of high temperature plastic, is injection-molded over the joining parts of the housing, in order to seal it hermetically.

  • Patent number: 7685752
Abstract: The carrier comprises a male part (1) and a female part (2), wherein the male part (1) has a stud (3) able to cooperate with a cavity (4) of the female part (2), wherein the stud (3) contains a ferrite rod (5) on his central axis (7). Said female part (2) comprises said antenna coil (6) so that when the stud (3) fully cooperates with the cavity (4) of the female part (2) through positioning means (9,10), the ferrite rod (5) is placed in the center (8) of the antenna coil (6).

  • Publication number: 20070075835
Abstract: The invention concerns an encapsulated transponder (1) having an integrated circuit (2), an antenna (3) and one or more electrical connections (4) between the integrated circuit (2) and the antenna (3). At least a part of the transponder (1) comprising the electrical connections (4) is embedded within a capsule (6) that is removable without damaging the electrical connections (4). Also claimed is a method for the production of such a transponder (1).
